How about an Uncommon-Rare npc drop for a Mini-Quasi, Can only be used on worlds Average or smaller to make a max of "Large" planets. This could spur additional purchases of real quasis as I would think more people would be willing to take a planet from large->vm then from small or very small for those special exotics and smaller planets with analyzes that you would otherwise just say screw that to ...

Would have to be rare or extremely rare; more common than the rate of a normal quasi but not in too high abundance.

maybe change the T.O Troop Carrier's drops to:
75% Terraforming Device 20% Mini-Quasi 5% Real Quasi

A seasonal NPC like the scruuge dropping this would be okay but nothing year round. Even large planets I leave undefended for the most part. It is just not worth the extra quasi.

Another expander will decrease money going to dan resulting in less updates and new material.
for this i would have to say -1 based on that reason.
i wouldn't mind the idea of having an expander that increases the size to VM with a catch. Every time you use the expander, you have a permanent effect of -10% production, this is stackable.
It remove this effect, you need to buy a specailized container what cost 20 GP per -10% effect. The new expander would have to be more rare than terrformers, less than the expander.
This would decrease money to dan but retain a minimum amount of money going to support the game.

~JF~ IMO I would think it would increase sales .. you scan a small 6x arti exotic.. more then likely .. your gonna ffa it  or take it pure prod it and forget about it till someone else scans it and steals it bricks it forgets about it ..and its a waste of a planet .. your not going to waste a real live quasi on a small planet .. you happen to have 3 mini quasis in your hold.. you get it up to being a large and the temptation to buy another quasi or two might arise.. and you make it a worthwhile planet..

I have to agree there are many great worlds out there as far as production go but they are below the size of Large. If you could make them up to large, or maybe even Very large depending on how rare they are, then those planets would no longer be considered a waist of resources to take. I know I would use them on some of my terra's and Exotics. This would also encourage me to take smaller then normal worlds as well making more of the worlds Dan adds to the game worth while to take and not having so many "waisted finds" while scanning.

A limit of one per day, and during that time there is no production? To have production u must buy a (add name) for x gp. This way dan still has money, those that dont pend money dont get a -10% production forever, how is that, and i think make them like a new T.O. ship that drops them, make them as rare as the to troop carrier (aftually a bit rarer). Also make it a blockade type, with insane amount of hull and def. (For rank) and it would be matched?

For this item to be added in, there must be a down side. Mini Flux, You have a wait a week to flux the planet.
Whats this mini expander downside? How can we keep the same level of funding to dan?

~JF~ Well the funding won't change... people buy quasi-spacial expanders to take a very large planet up to very massive... not to take a crap planet from very small to large. If anything, this could increase purchasing of qse's, given how people will now be able to take that tiny 8x exotic to large, meaning only 3 qse's to get it to vm. Mini-Expander downside.... new npc drops mini-expander components... new mission 25 completions(150nrg/1 component) per round... and make it a tri-weekly mission(so the mission has a 56 hour cooldown). I think that alone keeps it in the non-abusable area, as well as providing a downside... as you need to first find 25 components... which wouldn't be easy to do, to even make your mini-expander.

I like the idea of a mission with a cooldown .. similar to the temp flux mission .. and requiring npc dropped parts .. not bad either ..

Terraformers disappear at rank 2200... Plus i'd rather have a 10 more planets at 13x MR(assuming 10 vl 3x terra's) than 5 vm 3x terra's.

Political Favor has another use!  As much I like it, Political Favor is way easier than Exotic Matter to obtain.
