 Improvement idea for Mining bases.

Miner's coalition: Boosts base's mining output by 2% for each Loyal Miner, Builder and Mylarai member in your legion. Lasts 20 hours. Requirements remain the same as before (must have at least 1 loyal miner and base disabled more than two days ago).

Reason is that miners just aren't very common and neither are mining bases which is a likely sign that mining bases as they are, are simply underpowered considering research bases also provide funds once research contracts are available (and a very comparable amount of credits at that), so we'd may as well give mining bases a better buff than they already do.
Besides, all of the mentioned races and professions are all about benefiting your ship's economy and all have something to do that's related to mining (builders construct the mining facilities and mylarai enrich planets and of course mine while miners well, you know, mine).

Anyone else agree with me?

+1. Will make this ability more useful, i'm sure more people would use it if this were done.

It would be nice if they would boost it more for the Mylarai as I would assume they are better miners then just a miner.

As much sense as that makes; the lazuli didn't receive such treatment with the auxiliary fortifications upgrade over a regular fixer, so I don't see why this should.

Then why not go through and make it more then just a yes or no about how much base abilities increase for each race or profession. Give each race a 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, or 2, also give each profession a 0, 0.5, or a 1 as well as to how much of a % they boost the base. Since different races and different professions shouldn't all be the same for the same thing.

People wanted an upgrade for merchants I think in another forum post, maybe a new base ability that reduces base upkeep for having merchants and a few other races/professions.

I'm not sure what to make of it but it sounds interesting, perhaps you should post this as a separate topic. I'm sure you'd get some more opinions on this. ;)
