The base ability battlestations shows in the "battle" log instead of the "actions" log like the rest.
It's very minor but still a bug.

It's very minor but still a bug. Just did a check on our base, and "Battlestations" showed up under "actions" on the log. Perhaps its because you used it whilst your base was locked, that placed it in the "battle" log rather than the "actions" log?

Why not? would be such a shame to let all those shiny AP go to waste, what if we get locked?

That doesn't use the full AP you get each day. It makes sense to use certain buffs before they get recharged if they would go to waste.
