 New Technolgy Tree : Orbital Stations

i thought of this new tech tree that lets you build stations, stations occupy its own unique space called "orbital space" while standard structures like research stations and surface mines occupy "surface space". The larger the planet the more gravity, therefore, its possible for more stations to orbit it. Stations can be targetted and destroyed. That's all i thought up of so far, if dan likes this idea, maybe he'll put it into use. Each planet will have its own "stations tab" and that is where is shows its list of stations, each station acts as a "Guard" (like when you guard an allied planet) to protect the planet, although production stations do not benefit the planets military. Using this tab, the stations targetted this way, each station has its own attack and defence, that will come into play if the stations under attack or if the planets under attack. Defence Stations boosts the planets military defence and attack however, the stations do not benefit each other only itself, therefore an invader can target destroy the individual stations orbiting the planet to increase the chance of an invasion or if the invader is superior enough, he can ignore the stations and just charge in and attack the population.

Becuase of these stations, planets will be be much harder to invade, to balance this, the legion bonus that ups your defence and attack also ups your attack and deefence against stations, so if your in a 50 member legion (100% bonus) you inflict twice as much damage to stations and take twice as less damage (hopefully, Dan raise the member cap to 100 for legions, three times damage to stations). Also, i hope that if your in 100% 50 members legion, itll also add 100% Bonus chance of invasion. To add to that, stations have a build time and up keep cost 5% of its original cost per 24 hours. Stations that are damaged are repaired on this 24 hourly basis, however, each station can be repaired by the owner, every 5 minutes, this timer is for repairing your own and your allied ships.

You Don't have to destroy the stations in order to invade planet.

so these would be built around planets? and is there a limit to how many stations you could build in total? because if not i would definitly build a solar hyperdrive on every planet i own. and then build them instantly on enemy planets i invade.

This is another flux, and making it unlimited would be nice, but dysons would never be taken, as they would always be fluxed.
Dan wouldn't allow this, as hes removed fluxes from the artifact shipement, as whats going make him put it
in the research tree and unlimited.

Also dan and many wouldn't like that effect of it being "fluxed as soon as you click flux". and unlimited

so good idea, but some like this is a no go. also, what limites are there. whats the costs?
how about creating a orbital space station, costs 1 planetary space and gives 10-20 outerspace space. to build your ideas?

The Sizes VS Strenght of each idea is EXTREME.

You have design a unbalanced idea.

Like having 8,000 attack and 4,5000 defense for a station.
Size 36, and you have 100 spaces.

You are trying to replace the current system of buildings and defenses with this.
Or this is what it looks like, You must Reduce EVERYTHING, Re-think and make it fair.

I would advise the planet orbit space started at 5 for very tiny, and increases
by one for each size up it goes.

Very Tiny 5
Tiny 6
Very small 7
Small 8
Average 9
Large 10
Very Large 11
Massive 12
Very Massive 13
Colossal 14
Mega Colossal 15

Then the best that should be up is:

E.g. Jert Fighters, Size 14, 1000 attack 250 Defense.
When the population goes below 50, they are automatically destoryed.

Then for people with Mega Colossal, they can have a unique building.

Planetary orbital missile Defense:
Size 15, Increases attack and defense by 10%
Natural Attack and defense is at 200 each.
Cloak 100.

When the Population goes below 50, it is destroyed.


You current ideas are to replace defenses, or even planets. its to EXTREME.
You really need to rethink your idea, because 8000 attack and 4,500 defense is stupid!

You haven't included the "Legion Bonus", That means, each one (you can have 2)
Would be 16,000 Attack and 9,000 Defense, Times 2, 32,0000 Attack, 18,000 DEFENSE.

Thats like having a man made dyson with passive 10,000 attack, defense and cloak.

And having another flux... Solar, Blackhole, Warping Crap. Um dan wont allow the current flux,
you seriously think he will put in another one thats unlimited and able to build?

I KNOW instead of making a new research tree, why dont he add some of these buildings into the "buy artifact list" he can make more money, although the structures will take up "normal space" theres no such thing as "orbital space".
The only two things i would buy if i had GP is the terraformer nothing else...just thought dan could add something extra
