 GP reward system

Dan you need to add new incentive programs.
Perhaps gp rewards for those in the top 3 at the end of the month for the leader board. One for PVP and one for NPC.

Not looking for anything crazy, just say 3 gp for 1st place 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd.

That would only be a total of 12 gp a month given away.

Not much but a little thank you for playing so much.

I removed the section on raids and hacks would be unfair to most.

I games like UG (where you probably got this from) it's good because it's hard to stay in the top, here? it's a terrible idea. -1

No I did not, all the idea I have are mine.

But again I do not see the point in trying to explain this to someone so simpleminded as yourself.

I just thought It would be nice to reward the players in 1st place for their hard work, As you can see I am not nor will I ever be in 1st again in hose spots because i do not care about the game like I once did.

But it would be nice to have a reward that motivates game play.

Competition is healthy. But I do agree having something for hacks and raids are unfair do to the tm limitations so I retract that part.

i never say ideas are bad but this needs a stupid amount of work, did you know that many many poeple go way waaay over 5k npc's a day

How is it hard last day of the month the top 3 players get rewards?

There is nothing hard about that. Killing 5 k a day has no bearing on who is in 1st at the end of the month.

And there is no limit on how many you can kill. Same for pc kills. There is no limit on how many players you can kill. May be easier for lower ranks to get them but there is no limit. Even playing field on both sides it just comes down to someone wanting it more than someone else.

While I've been writing a similar idea to this over the past month or so, it's really hard to give GP away fairly.

For example, high rank pays low rank large amounts of credits, so that high rank can farm low rank to be #1 on the hack/raid/disable leaderboard.

Doesn't even have to involve rank. Strong rank 300 -> weak rank 300. Oh, and then there's multi-abuse create a load of alts and farm them all day.

Fix the flaws, then I'll +1. :)

I'm sorry, but... let me put it simple...

This is a terrible, exploitable, flawed, unnecessary, and a not well thought out idea. This idea needs some major tweaking... This idea can not go down this route because: A. Tier rankings (ie. rank 1 - 20 and in same tier, rank 21 - 50 are in another) are still exploitable and B. If not tier rankings not only is this exploitable but this will only benefit the high rankers.

Did you even look/think twice at your idea?

meaning rank 2000 get it every month and no one else has a chance

im pretty sure i ment that people disable more than that a day, not that it effects the idea

What if Dan had weekly leader bords for things that gave VERY small ampunts of GP. Like weekly raids , hacks that kinda stuff. TOP person gets 2GP the rest of the top 10 gets 1 GP. have rank ranges to 0-500, 501-1000, 1000+

For ranking reward, I would say the most fair option is to make it badge based.
Specifically, the most amount of blue/yellow/red/black badge earned during a month. (not accumaltive, just the ones within that month)

Otherwise, the top 10 will probably be forever top 10 due to the huge lead they have and somewhat monopolize the reward(#1 kills right now have 1100 more than 2nd...)
It also doesn't have a lot to do with player level(using lvl instead of rank to avoid confusion) as most high count are done via farming much weaker players, so tiering the reward by level would not be very effective.
On the other hand, I dare say badges earned during each month is a much better representation of honest effort. Ofc, it's easier for lower ranks to red badge while it's easier for higher ranks to get black badge, but if there is a ranking for each type of badge, it should be close to fair.

Green is excluded due to football, silver excluded because it also represent team as oppose to personal effort alone and relic excluded because that's almost exclusive high level content.

Finally unlike fail the negating banshee from who know were someone with constructive input.

Agree your take on this is a good one. And if he does not want to give GP maybe a new type of badge or medal, that offers special items.

Say an energy refill, or a new artifact that gives +1 to any production, new weekly artifact that gives your planets all planets 1% bonus to recourses. stuff like that. Nothing over powering but a reward for your hard work to get it.

I can see this turning into the "Galactic Competition" idea that I've been working on for the past month or so. It's not yet been released, because I'd like it to be near-perfect from the moment I suggest it, so I work on it when I can.

how about a repeatable mission that rewards gp ? limit it to once a day and make it cost a lot of energy with low xp returns

I like this idea on it best. But .. I recal another game that gave rewareds like this it was alwys small. how EVER! it was Clan based weekly , bi weeklys or mouthly thing. So maybe have Legion wide rankings that reset every now and then . Track the things the members do add it up and rewared the best. Dan says he wants more co opt things. well tracking legion wide kills, raids hacks, NPC'ing ,bases battles what ever. or even legion missions tasks. OR a new thing he adds. rather then have it player base have it legion based and rewared every member of the legion based on the rank they get. Even if he dose not do it with GP i hope he dose some thing like this with planet mods and other cool nifty thingys.

Earning GP is much more valuable to people than a high energy expenditure with a low energy return. If anything this will encourage people with large energy tanks to slow rank off this mission. Everybody on the high end will just avoid buying large amounts of GP, ruining Dan's wallet severely. And most people will be deterred from doing anything else just to take advantage of free GP, making all of Dan's high-end geared content redundant in comparison.

Galaxy Points should not be earned via missions. That is a game breaking and financially ruining idea.

Honestly, isn't testing your luck at The Daily Reward enough?

my solution to gp is dink a lot of sunkist, can turn in 3 codes a day for free FB credits!!!!

and if your too cheep to buy one get them out of the trash
