+1 for me, I just put in 15k nrg into a high level base (a base greater than level 6) for a +1 artifact, +1 research and 200 cloak structure. I mean the reward isn't the only reason I did that much damage, mainly for my legion and battle pacts but it would be nice to have an adequate reward for the effort.

I mean there's the small chance to get a crystal or a parser (I'm yet to get 1 and I've been hitting higher level bases for a long time) but that small % isn't enough to motivate me. I only hit those bases to help my legion and our battle pacts now to be a team player. Even if on bases level 6 and above an extra arty that is better than the station and the tri-phase but isn't as good as the crystal or parser was added I would be happy. This is just my opinion though.

could remove amberlight from 5's increase the rare drop my 5%

remove phasers from rank 7+ and add 5% chance to the rare drop per extra rank. so rank 7 has a 15% rare drop rank 8 is 20% and rank 9 will be 25%.

That's a separate issue caused by the original post. Remove the incentive to hit once or twice for the same prize chance, and you will reduce tap dancing.

Just as an off shoot the rewards themselves needs some reworking literally at the stage now with 2 stations on every arti/RP planet i own and i have over 130 in my cargo at this point.


I think higher up the damage list you are the better % chance you should get at a crystal.

fixed that for you.

i still think there should be level ranges for bases ... say 3 ... and each level has its own rewards.

suggested ranges:

... up to 199
... 200-999
... 1000+

use the current reward setup for the middle range and come up with new reward breakdowns for the higher and lower ranges.

then, if a rank 2k wants to 'solo' a base, they can raid their part even if the entire base does not get dropped. each additional level that gets dropped gets you another raid. if the entire base gets dropped, another raid would be allowed, so a total of 4 raid opportunities for legions with a wide range of players.

this would hurt legions that focus solely on npc ranges, but would help those that actually practice 'training' less.experienced pilots and get them up to speed.

It is a statistics game, so you are going to get crap sometimes. The raid system does need a bit of work, but this is not the answer.

Wow, you must be remarkably delusional to think that i know nothing about the topic. I have not demonstrated this in anything I have posted, apart from disagreeing with you.
