Crikey... just used the formula, and I have 6.8111111 rank points per level.
I'm surprised I'm not disabled/hacked/raided more often than I am to be honest o.O
My K/D ratio is 116:49

Part of my problem was that I was in a tiny legion for too long, and the base was still only level 2 when I left.
Maybe I should stop ranking up so quickly, just keep getting random artifacts in the hope of getting more shipbots, rescued prisoners, etc.

I'm at Rank 80. Is it a good idea to stop gaining XP, and focus on building a stronger ship with artifacts?

second formula should give you around 45.8. your math is off somewhere.

Everyone! I have a point to bring up. A lot of these things aren't rank points, particularly... You can get 300 scientists from the Kronyn Exodus, 230 scientists from Decrypting the Vault, 20 engineers, scientists, TOs, and helmsmen from Suspicious Construction, and 50 engineers, 125 scientists from Prototype Engineering. That's a total of 675 scientists, 70 engineers, 20 TOs, and 20 helmsmen. The formula does not account for those.

Ahh I see where I went wrong. Had added 3474 + 49950 then divided it by 5, the rest I did right.
