Some of it I understand - you need to validate accounts to people.. but some of this might appear to be a bit intrusive? Do you have a privacy policy?

GL only requests access to your 'basic information', the minimum required.

The list I gave is what Facebook reports that you have access too.. No clue how it works from your end.

If you are referring to the app information shown on Facebook's Privacy Settings, this is a bug on their side. You'll notice the same issue exists for other apps. However, you can see what information GL accesses underneath. See: "Last data access:" and it will indicate what information the game has requested.

The best, is creating a facebook account only for gaming.

You don't care who you adding as friend even from other side of the planet.
You don't care what's applications/games you install.
You don't care about personal information, because your account containt none of they.

But yes you MUST do it BEFORE start play game.
