 Prismatic production calculation is incorrect

The current way prismatic production is calculated does not use the Philtery connection bonuses (nor Prismatic Galactic Accord Effect and Prismodyne Academy Effects)
I've looked into this in detail and this is how arti prod is calculated:
The production from structures has the following buffs applied :
Availability Bonus: 1200%
Development Bonus: 100%
Solynia, Technician Elite Effect Buff Bonus: 2%
This figure is then multiplied by 4,5 or 6. Recently this has been 6, but occasionally drops to 5. At the moment I am only getting 4X so losing a lot of aph.

If all the bonuses were applied correctly, my prismatic would produce 50k aph, but the way it is currently calculated produces only 32,885 (with the 4X multiplier). When the multiplier was 6X, aph was calculate as 46039 so was contented with that, but not happy with 4X.

If people want to look at their own prismatics and are unsure how to capture all the percentage buffs on your aph, view your prismatic, hover over aph (to display the bonuses), press ctrl+A (to select everything on screen), press ctrl+c (to copy info to your clipboard).
Then open notepad(or similar) and paste the content in (ctrl+v)
within that text you will see something like this extract:
Artifact ProductionFrom Structures: 248
Availability Bonus: 1200%
Development Bonus: 100%

My initial though was that its no point in applying the philterys as they are not used in the calculations, but maybe they are ....

The number of philterys maybe used to determine the multipler (4x,5x,6x). The multiplier is currently 5 and there are 130 philterys in place. When I was getting 4x there were only 123 philterys.

Multiplier has been 6 in the past, so please could everyone with a prismatic use their philtery ability so that hopefully the multiplier will increase further.

I've captured production multipliers for different number of philtery connections:
so far i have:

123 philtery connections = 5x
130 philtery connections = 6x
135 philtery connections = 6x
143 philtery connections = 7x (current value)

so it looks from this that the philtery connections are used to estimate prismatic production but I'll continue to monitor it.

* in my original post where I said 4X,5X,6X i actually meant 400%,500%,600% bonus, so should have said 5X,6X,7X

I'll be interested to see more numbers to determine exactly what the cut-off line is for new multipliers. I hadn't realized it worked like this because when I was using my philtery, there had been no increase so I had actually stopped using it until I saw this.

before i unlocked the prismodyne academies, my spreadsheet tallied up the production perfectly for my prismatic. once the academies and the next prismatic foundation upgrade went in, the numbers went sideways .. so that would have been last october with the prismatic galactic collective. until then, the 1% philtery connections still apparently stacked no matter how many there were.

if the 1% connections were nerfed at that time, that would account for the wonky numbers i got after upgrading. but i have been applying the philtery connection every 40H regardless. i'll let the other spreadsheet jockeys figure out the formula .. i spent weeks on it last october before giving up.

I have 136 in effect and I'm at the normal level.

Have the Prismatic Galactic Accord.

It stopped jumping this week for me. It was jumping up and down from 45K to 53K.

I am an excavator so mine is at 49 K but yesterday to this morning it was up to 57 K. This change has only been happening for 2-3 works as the production was stuck at 49 K since I did my last prismatiuc upgrade.

EDIT: I just connected and I am back to 57994 units/hr so Dan may have fixed the Prismatic finally. I guess mine had ran out sometime in the past 2 hours so now a manual connection actually DOES something. Yay!

As I said in my original post, the philterys are not applied one by one, they are counted up and a multiplier is applied according to which band that count falls into.

So, its worth always applying the philtery connect whenever its available. Please pass this info on to your fellow team mates who may not read forum posts.

Lets try and get max prod from our prismatics.

judging from the discord chat .. Dan was apparently fiddling around with this new mode of philtery connection buff the first week in september which resulted in some wild swings until it settled down to its current state.

How do you guys count them? When I hover over the question mark , they scroll off the top of the page.

When we first got the Philteries, it made a big difference whether people clicked or not, then it didn't, then it did again, then it jumped up and down. Haven't paid a lot of attention lately.

Read the first post, which provides step by step directions for how to do so.

how and where do you get the philtery connections ?
I only have 60 most of the time and the Accumulative Ap / h is out by 6k ap.
the AP production figure does not change atm, that if either any Philteries or other button is clicked or not clicked.
which to me points to complete BS.
Dan seem to promise a lot but falls short delivering upon his promises..

The Production issue in the Prismatice is not fixed as far as I am concerned.
Instead of guestimating how the calculations work and not work, I suggest to get on to Dan and request fixing it!

cheers Mana

as others have already indicated, the OP already provided the means to determine the total number of current active philtery connections in the first post in this topic.

until this month, there was an apparent cap on philtery connection production boosts (which obviously prompted numerous tickets to Dan).

in the first week of this month, people noticed their prismatic planet productions skyrocket and then settle back down, indicating that Dan was re.jigging the coding (likely in response to the tickets).

based on the OP's post, the philtery connections no longer provide a 1% boost straight up, but instead there is a production boost based on the total number of active philtery connections. the OP is just trying to figure out Dan's new formula now.

130-140 philtery connections = 6x
141-143 philtery connections = 7x

If anyone else is counting philtery connections, here are a couple of tips to make it easier. Hide legion comm before pressing ctrl+a. Also, when viewing in notepad, choose view menu and tick status bar. This will enable you to see the current line number in the status bar which will make determining the number of philtery connections easier. What I do is delete everything above the first philtery connection and then scroll down and click on the last philtery connection line. The line number in the status bar is the no. of connections.

Thank you! My eyes go wonky when I try to count identical things in a column, but it's good to know how to do it

Anyone who has Prismatic Philtery connection available, pls use it now as there are currently 150 conns .. one more may well bring prod into the next multipier band.
Thanks

Yeah, production keeps jumping all over the place, up and down, needs more connections.
