I would like to see a mission that allow's you to use say 3 or so Terraforming Device's, and 500 energy a pop and make a QSE out of them. It seems to me that I find maybe 1 QSE out of every 20 T.O. Troop carriers I find and would love to be able to trade in some of the terraformers for some more QSE's. Thanks.

Your getting them at a better rate than me also. I've gotten 3 so far out of 33,660 kills.
So +1 for me on this idea.

Well I only brought this up because yes I have been getting a lot more of these. lol But I still think that many others would use this too. I have got 25 Troop carriers in the past 2 weeks about. And only one QSE out of all of them. I need QSE's way more than I need terrafromers right now but that is all I seem to find.

I like this idea as well in a way. Since finishing The Terra Project, I've come up with 2 QSE's and several TF's (didn't keep track). From what I can see, after TTP, the only use for TF's is boosting your artifact production.
Actually I would rather see a repeatable mission created, requiring so many (10??) tech/debris pieces that get dropped from a rare NPC. My logic is that TF's and QSE's work on completely different theoretical mechanics.

They are very different tech based so say you use your's. Ten is not enough unless the mission needs to be done a lot of times. lol I would say have it like 150 tech and 220 energy 20 times. Now the way I have it set up you could say use it as a trade based idea. A race out there is in need of terraformers and is willing to trade of their QSE's that they no longer use. But since the QSE's are so rare and cost so much to build it is a 3 for one trade. And have both of these repeatable unlimitedly. If anyone else has any further ideas on this please share.  Thanks.

My thought was that the debris/tech would be about as "common" as TF's. 1 NPC = 1 piece. Just threw the 10 in there because thats how many TF's and QSE's are required for those missions.
But the trade idea sounds good too.

ah when I read your post I thought you where talking about Complex Tech Parts. Which is why I made it higher. lol I could see your way. and would like that but then again I get in on around 20 - 40 elite NPC kills a day as well. So we would be getting them very quickly. It could use some work still but I like where your going with that as well. maybe something involving both your tech parts and terrafromers or have it set up in stages/parts and each part of the mission would need something different to do it. But once you do the whole mission it starts over and you have to get all the parts need to do each stage of the mission again.

Here is my version of a QSE mission: (updated twice)
Technological Expansion: While observing the process of Quasi-Spacial Expansion, some variances were detected that operate similar to other devices. With intense study perhaps we can duplicate the effect.
*Requirements: Completed Gravshell Construction (research), Completed Supernova Generation (research), Must have used a QSE before, level 340+ *Cost per mission: 300 energy, 1 Alien Data Disc, 1 Tesseract Container, 700 Exotic Matter, 20 Complex Tech Parts, 20 aidonium *Risks: spacial implosion (lose all minerals in your cargo and lose 30 cargo space, uncommon), dangerous circumstances (crew death, uncommon) *Missions to Completion: 50 *Total Completions: 5 *Reward: 1 Quasi-Spacial Expander

I agree not only that but the lose of cargo space should start making us high rank's looking for more mass cargo expanders. lol

QSE mission is not happening. It's obviously rare on purpose, as really the only remaining GP item that a lot of people feel compelled to get for their dyson. It would be a huge $$$ loss to get it any other way.

And by giving the players a little taste of it will compel them to get more.

I could see this being a big reason why not to have a mission that way but I think that even with a mission like this players would still buy them. Maybe even have this mission show up much later on for higher ranking players, say rank 300+ or something. And if you have it with a high energy use then more players may get GP's for more energy. Besides a mission like this would take a while to save up all the items needed for each one. I have been saving those Alien Data Discs for a couple months not a single one used and that is all I have so to use 50 for one expander would be a crazy amount. And take many players a very long time to save up for. So I can still see many players still buying the QSE's just because they don't want to wait or use all the needed items for the mission.

Oh I did not know this I thought that you needed to do it five time for the completion not that you could only do the mission five times. I would like to see it repeatable but maybe Binary is right and that will never happen so I guess some is better than none. lol
