Did you really just post that? Sound by it's very nature A doesn't break the sound barrier and B can't travel in space so before you accuse someone of trollin' go read a physics book. Dan takes great pains to make the Sci-Fi he uses at least seem credible when he makes it up or he pulls from classic tropes.

Now if you wanted your sonic weapon to add to planetary invasion that would be totally ok since everything except barren would have an atmosphere.

Now if you were deliberately trolling bravo you got someone to respond.

sonic weapons would actually be an interesting addition to the game. we already use sonic bombs to kill the organics inside enemy buildings for high profile targets in rl... i think this would be cool on a planetary invasion scale to see a sonic wmd that could kill the population in an entire city (not that theres citys on gl planets, but u get where im comin from)

Never thought of planetary invasions, BUT STILL why do you have to go and ruin someones imagination by stating facts that still this is a science fiction game and its not like it matters, but seriously go check out some of the modules and say they can be used in space, Sonic Weapons for invasion makes sense more than ships by facts, so i would have to go with you, but seriously its just a game. I dont wanna sit here and fight about what is Possible and Impossible, but in some way you could possibly make Sonic weapons work in space, not necisarily Sound but something else emitted at a high level enough to disrupt modules of subspace propertions

Manifold Concussion Cannon: A system that impacts dimensional membranes, allowing easier scanning of Intra-D vibrations that doubles as an effective weapon (scan and attack)

ok, heres my question... youve proposed maybe 30 individual modules that have no affiliation to a faction, and youve listed the effect they would give the ship. so why have these not been included as mission tier rewards? i would love having these to work for, and it would be advantageous to have all of em as mission rewards so that people can still unlock tier rewards as they complete future weekly missions. and then by the time players have obtained all these rewards, im sure youll have invented new ones!

keep up the good work, and hopefully a few of these will be added at one time or another!

Also i figured out a better weapon than Sonic Waves because SOUND cant travel in space but RADIO WAVES can :) see were im going with this

Radio waves are along the EM spectrum. There is a lot of modules already made that do better.

Sound can not be transmitted through a vacuum. It is based on the vibration of particles. Also, did you imply that sound travels faster than... sound?

We already talked about the space thing, but Zophah (with a little inspiration from us) made the weapon/scanner that used Intra-D vibrations to do the same effect. I actually thought of a some weapons though, I think they're pretty cool.

Electrical Particle Gun
This weapon accelerates particles, and launches them towards a target like any particle cannon. However, the only difference is, that is not how it really kills the target. The beam is constant, and is directed towards the enemies hull, (once shields are down is best) and when the beam gets a good connection, the weapon pumps a good 500,000 volts of electricity through the particles, and blasts the enemy ship. If the ship is made of metal, or another conductive material. (Which is likely) the crew get's some nice supercharged deck plates to stand on. With the crew mostly dead or injured, raiding the ship is that much easier.

Gel Launcher
This weapon uses a bunch of dangerous chemicals all concocted together into a weird semi-liquid substance. Sitting around it's rather safe, and can be sloshed around, or bathed in if you like that sort of thing. However, under certain circumstances the gel is very volatile. When impacted, or heated quickly, the gel spontaneously converts into heat energy. When launched in globs towards targets, the gel will often melt through the hull, and cause major damage to exterior structures. When sprayed as a mist outside of a ship, any fighters that strike it, will have hundreds of tiny holes melted through them as they pass through the difficult to see cloud.

These could be NPC drops. Anybody like them?
