To expand the game some (at a later time when needed) I think a new research tree should be added to the list. examples below.

Research tree: Miniaturization, or Efficiency (it doesn't matter)
level 1
(Ship Module& chip Theories in device section)
no reward
200 rp

Level 2
(Ship Module in device section) (just 1 Modulator per ship)
Mining Production Modulator
Size:15 -15 Energy (the Equip Effects)
Increases hour Production of total Mining by 1%
1000 RP

Then of course a artifact and research item that does the same thing... so this is researched 3 times before level 3 teir

level 3
(Ship Module in device section) (just 1 Chip per ship)
Computer Targeting Chip
Size:25 -25 Energy (the Equip Effects)

Combatant Chip (+2% total attack power)
Defensive Chip (+2% total Defense power)

researched twice (one for each)
4500 RP

Level 4
(Ship Module in device section) (just 1 Modulator per ship)
Mining Transportation Modulator
Size:40 -40 Energy (the Equip Effects)
Increases hour Production of total Mining by 3%
13500 RP

Then of course a artifact and research item that does the same thing... so this is researched 3 times before level 5 teir

level 5
(Ship Module in device section) (just 1 Chip per ship)
Computer Efficiency Chip
Size:75 -75 Energy (the Equip Effects)

Combatant Chip (+5% total attack power)
Defensive Chip (+5% total Defense power)

researched twice (one for each)
35000 RP

and so on and so forth... the max level production increases item would be +10% individually or maybe a +4% to ALL production values for a final one, and the max level defense and attack bonus would be +25%..

I feel this would give more careful thought into ship space and make you choose what was more important to you.. production... or fighting.. as well add more to the fighting aspect of the game
