In case anybody's wondering, none of the structure limits that apply to Gas planets apply to Plasma planets; you can build population structures, Interrogation structures, and the DM79 gives 6 research. I thought this information might be useful to some people.

Not really. A good planet would be Very Massive 16x megarich. better that you completely optimise a planet before plasmatizing it.

You can only get them to 15x, but that's what I did. Now it's Colossal, 17x Mega Rich Research, giving 739.5 RP/h.
