I was thinking about nucifers threat of nuking the earth when this idea emerged. A mission artifact. That allows you to blow up a mega/massive planet or better, that has been owned by the player for a min of 6 weeks. After using the artifact on a planet a twelve hr countdown starts to doomsday. Upon becoming aware of their certain demise the natives send out a call for help aka galaxy wide planet alert. If someone succeeds in invading the planet doomsday is averted. However if the doomsday device activates the planet explodes and the owner can use the left overs to create some type of prototype weapon that harnesses the power of the planet. The bigger and richer the planet was the better the stats the weapon receives]

-1 its overpowered and i would hate to loose my dyson or some other mega rich planet. This definatly should never be added (Not this this but i mean the general idea of a Doomsday device)

I don't know the first thing about coding so I wouldn't know but there's ways to uncomplicate it. Also that's why the player has to own the planet for a min of 6weeks, I'm srry but if you don't take planet before then, its pretty much a hopless case of ever getting it back.
This would force legions to work has one, as literally hundreds of players attempt to steal the planet during the countdown. I also believe each player should only get one chance at this, win or fail.

What's the difference between the planet getting fluxed or destroyed in 6 weeks? Either way you lose it.

To flux the planet away, you first have to TAKE the planet.

This device sounds like it would be used by someone who cannot take a planet, but still wants to rob that owner of the planet. Such as a small legion stumbling across a mission dyson on a successful critical hack.

-1 because it is too easy to use for the amount of power it has.

I'm not sure how you arrived to that conclusion? It can only be done to a planet that you have owned for more than 6 weeks, after activating the device on your planet a 12hr countdown starts. The natives upon learning of their certain demise sends out a call for help aka galaxy wide planet alert, if anything it would be almost impossible for the owner to keep it for the required 12hrs. Only the higher ranks could afford or able to do this, but the prototype weapon would be well worth it.

Your original post says nothing about it being an artifact played on your own world.

Deal with it its a horrible idea, and most people HAVE kept their planet for 6 Weeks. I dont even know how you can come up with an idea like this.

Yes I know i just said this idea need work prob should scrap it. I all so know you said the same thing abrasively I think he gets he point. I do hope to see more from him I enjoy reading ideas out side the box and like to see the creative ideas people come up with way more then the normal ones even if its a bad one it still gets me thinking on how to improve it and make it work.

I thought everyone would assume that since it must be owned for a min of 6 weeks but I can easily see how people would think otherwise after reading Joshes mortally horrified reaction lol..

Ill be coming out with more in future, im currently working on one but its quite complexed..
