Legions - how members interact.

 Still learning the game. Level 28 Light Frigate. Just started a Legion and want to find out how legion members can assist eachother. Can we coordinate attacks or come to eachother's defense?

Sure you can. Amongst other things you can coordinate attacks by alerting the entire legion of a specific target, help defend one another's planets, and repair each others hulls when disabled.
