Had a question for those that have used this device. I know it says that it makes any planet a massive exotic. Now, detail wise, would it be better to pick the crappiest planet you have, or would it enhance the effect of the device to use it on an already good planet?

Thanks gents. Probably wait until I can colonize another, then pick the worst one off my list. Might as well get some good out of having scanned it.

If I treat new exotic planet as my "homeworld" I would want nice name to go with it.. I chose crappy planet BUT with name I like and it wasn't the crappiest planet in my database but crappy anyway.. So, if you care about name that you wanted to call it your home, be sure to pick a planet with name you like cuz upgrading to exotic will retain the same name..

That's actually what I was just doing. Too bad none of the planet names that I have stick out.

You want to make sure the planet you pick dosent have people that currently scanned it. I think thats more important then picking one to have a cool name -.-a
