 Prejoran Slave Barrier

Obviation Barrier: Planet Defense 1200, Size 2
Prejoran Slave Barrier: Defense 2000, Special allows no production collection from the planet, Size 20

This seems wrong to me, for 20 spaces I can have 10 Obviation Barriers that would give me 12,000 defense and allows planet production.
The prejoran Slave Barrier is as effective as a Regional Shield, if you wanted to have 10 of them on a planet but does not allow production.

My suggestion would be to reduce the Prejoran Slave Barrier to size 2, or even size 1 as it allows no production collection from the planet.
Also the Obviation Barrier is almost as good and allows production, my suggestion would be to raise the Prejoran Slave Barrier to Defense +3000.

The Prejoran Slave Barrier was an early game tech from when planet defense structures increased in size as they got better (and nobody had researched the high-end shields yet). Nobody I know of actually uses slave barriers because of the "no production" caveat. NOt much point in changing something that nobody uses anyway, IMO.

yeah the prejor mission chain was the first mission chain that was ever released so it was a good building back THEN but now just use 10 regional shields.

Not just the stats but hey cost 50 prejoran tech too, so they are very very limited.

I agree, by the time you actually get around to finishing the Prejoran Slave Barrier Mission, you're actually depressed to get the slave barrier, it sucks so hard. Dan tends to remove things that no one actually uses / likes from the game. The Slave Barrier is a prime example of something the game would be better off without.

It would have to make the planet undetectable/invincible, take 20 spaces or less, and give at least 1/2 production to be useful.

i disagree with removeing it as I would use it and plan to. i agree make it size 2 or w/e mayeb up teh def to 3k but here is how u use it. take your most worthless planet build slave barrier. then if u use gp build data archives or your artifact of choice on it and brick the planet. i wil have a VM ave gas that increases my max rp by

these are some what cheap considering so u could build 10+ on a planet and brick it with all teh "useless" stuff u have so the stay safe. ( i.e 10 soldier outposts. prejor barrier if it got smaller, and ob barriers
