Your the problem in this situation, and you will continue to be the problem unless major changes are made in your organization and how you deal with problems.

Well i have mixed feelings about DOO. on one hand i have a few friends that are in Doo and i help them out, on the other i have had a couple of jerks from DOO come over and just be complete dicks. Hack me once i might let you get away with it. Hack me twice i'll look at you real hard, hack me 3 times i am COMING to bust your ass. It's called the Three Strike Rule.
And if your the So-Called Leader of DOO, then your peoples actions are a reflection on both you, your people and your organization. Sure you might be the biggest around because there arent any other real Guilds, but I ASSURE YOU SIR, if your people keep acting like Tyrants, several people will leave your precious ranks and probably start their own guild. REMEMBER, your only that big because no one else had anywhere else to go. these were your own words, and Good People dont like getting bad reps, after all the world is mostly about image anyway right? How many people you know that go out and ACTIVLY try to get into the Crypts or Bloods?
Good people you might have because they didn't have anyplace else to go, But me personally I'd rather not be associated with the likes of a Slaughter house. I have "MY" image to uphold...

1. GL is created as social network game.. Do you really think that no organizations or structured guild or fleet won't be born? That's the underlying problem who introduced GL using FB platform.. I took advantage of exactly same platform to establish the organization to play the game so we can communicate better. I hate very limited communication system that GL offers so I provided better communication system to players who seek it.... I even haven't seen GL rules saying that organizations are banned. Therefore, its totally legit.. Go blame me for running the strong organization. I don't care less.. Any DOO members actions that could be very damaging or whatever.. I take all blames for them. I don't care.. It's my responsiblity.. We, the administration, kicked those out who damages DOO reputation and voliates any of DOO charter rules. I take blames for the administration for any DOO misdeeds. I take blames well and gladly to be in front of line of fire to protect DOO. 2. I never ever attack anyone FIRST. I only attack if someone attack me OR I respond to any alerts.. However, when I relatiate or assist anyone in alert, I do view as bulliest guy on the block simply because when I fight, I'm ruthless fighter only provoked (years and years of PVP combats in so many games under my belt). Yet, I'm quite honorable. Whenever that aggressor finally said something or wanted to stop, I almost always respect their wish and move on to next aggressor. Only players that I would keep bullying non-stop are multi-account players.. They have no place in GL.. I even fought players many ranks above me and they cried at me yelling, "You are bully" and they simply won't fight me cuz they simply couldn't. Wow, they are afraid of little guys like me? Yet, my combat reputation is insane.. I could easily decide to attack anyone in battle list just to hit 1k kills in no time flat just for fun and be #1 killer but I don't do it.. I actually climb up slower now simply because of limited alert and not many alerts coming in lately so I killed much less but I still won't attack anyone in the battle list who are non-DOO. It's not me.. I don't care if I'm called bully, facism, etc because I heard about all names, etc in so many years of my MMO experience that they meant nothing heh. 3. Organization or anyone being on top are always bound to be envied upon that will introduce all sorts of criticisms and I fully expect that and I don't even care cuz they mean nothing and I just play what I believe in for the betterment of the organization and try to help GL. My past actions actually helped to point out many of GL flaws that helps to shape GL into better game to avoid same mistakes and I always support it. I never opposed limited alert, I always encourage more organizations, introduce in-game fleets with 100 members cap, so go on.. I love GL and I want it to be more advanced sci-fi wargame that would be more fair to anyone regardless of ranks. I am basically a beta tester taking advantage of anything and any loopholes I see and give feedback to Dan. If I am seen as a cruel, tyrant leader to some players. So be it. That's who I am. If I am seen as great, compassionate leader to some players, so be it.. That's who I am. There are all diffrent type of players with their own different set of perspectives. I actually support Spoonspanky and his Dark Side organization simply because of his different agenda and rule that could help to point out some flaws in GL and I needed to see more organizations in GL.. I haven't fought Spoonspanky out of respect for his efforts on new things especially roleplaying. He simply roleplayed so I applauded him for that.. It's not many players who roleplay lately. Yet, many players got mad and trashed him even though he simply roleplayed and he fully expected that due to being "bad" guy.. I totally understood him and I found his efforts interesting and hoped it would take off good.. 4. I also instructed DOO members to create sense of power and "terror" against any aggressor and spread DOO's reputation as terrifying one so any aggressors would think twice from attacking DOO again. That creates more sense of peace for DOO members. Adding in-game tag as DOO for players definitely will give DOO huge peace simply because non-DOO members will simply look at name tag "DOO" and say, "OMG! Forget that!!" then move on to bully on non-DOO players.. But that probably would start to make DOO members itchy to fight cuz no alerts for defense stopped coming in.. But NPC system could keep them interested and PVP would be greatly diminished.. I admit that I like having no-tag DOO on players name so we could have reason to fight whoever were foolish enough to attack us first ignorantly. But I do support fleet tag to protect non-DOO players from making very same mistake. But that will increase their non-DOO infightings and bullying and DOO won't protect those non-DOO victims unless they decided to join DOO for protection.. 5. Bottomline.. If you don't like the concept of organizations, guilds, legions, etc and prefer to play alone, go play stand-alone games such as Galactic Civilization, etc. It's not my fault.. It's actually Dan's responsiblity to make organization/guild system more fair mechanically because he chose to make his game social networked instead of stand-alone.. ALL social network games are supposed to have structured organization system. Many FB games I played always have organizations.. Yet, people objected that GL has one? Give me a break.. The simple reason why people objected and DOO is most noticable is simply because they are only one organization that everyone knows.. If GL has so many organization, DOO won't be objected to and get noticed.. That is most normal.. I'm darn darn darn proud of DOO by the way and doesn't matter what you say about it. You can trash-talk about DOO all you want. It's your freedom of speech and right to your opinion. That's what makes USA great.

This is the only game I play where those "organizations" are completly ruining PvP. I dont PvP anymore because of fear Ill kill a DOO member accidently. And then get PUMMELED BY HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME. Now I only PvP when someone hacks me. Which has happened 4 times in the past 2 days.

I could argue with you but iv seen this before, hell, history is full of men like you. The Islamic extremists America is fighting, Mussolini, Stalin(but not Trotsky!), Francisco Franko. So im going to leave this with a few things. 1:DOO is targeted by me simply because it's the organization I know best. Dont think your that special. Anything I say about DOO is my feelings on all organizations.(I hate microsoft because it steals for Apple, not because its popular) 2: You have killed PVP, for me, me friends, and for the masses. 3:Just because the words I have chosen to use have been used by many and over used as well, does not change the fact that they hold meaning. When I call DOO fascists and terrorists its not ignite the hatred that those terms hold for us. I say it because you are by definition just that. You terrorize those simply enjoying the game, and you use excessive brute force to force those around you to do as you see fit. Which is by definition terrorism and fascism. The terms hold meaning whether you take meaning to them or not. 4:"multi-account players.. They have no place in GL.." Explain this http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= ... all&ref=ts . 5:The end does not justify the means. Thusly I do not care what your intentions are and I do not care what your philosophies are, your actions define you. 6:"I never ever attack anyone FIRST." So the blame always go to the aggressor? The allies on WW1 are not equally horrible for using the same poisonous gasses that the Axis did simply because "He started it"? 7: Im not against group play, im against stampeding a person for following game play. I love raiding in WoW simply because of the people I get to hang out with. And I hate it that youv allowed people to cry for mommy because there to weak to play a PVP game. 8: This isnt America, this is the internet. Trying to get the Patriotic crowd is pretty failtastic. Argue with your points not with an american flag. 9: Trash talking is mindless overused insults that anyone with an IQ over 50 can make up. Im showing the faults in your logic and poking them to see if youll reform anything. (If you cant make a rebuttal for this that isnt your opinion in a few paragraphs, you lose. Im looking for an argument, where logic is used and points are made, not "I dont have a mom so you mom jokes dont work")

Heh. Sad thing is.. Even with NPC system added to GL that helped to reduce PVP heat off DOO, it only makes DOO stronger by giving them ability to farm NPCs out to power them even more.. That still create incentive for players to join DOO just to farm NPC and get themselves handed with nice loot..
HINT: This is your best chance to create new organization completely focused on NPC encounters before too late.. If there wouldn't be any organizations being born just in time for more NPC activities, DOO will simply take in serious NPC fighters to help DOO out.. That's my advice for those would-be new organization leaders.. FYI, More NPC activities will come.. Even bigger, advanced, more complicated ones will come.. Pure NPC organization, no PVP could be attractive to players who hate PVP.. Just my thought..

I've read all these posts and arguments for both sides. I'd like to give n objective perpsective on this matter if I can.
1. DOO (and any other big alliances) are here to stay, unless some kind of game mechanic or apocalypse occurs to make large alliances unfeasible. Something such as limitations on legion alerts (only 5 legion members alerted per alert) or massive powerful NPC's that do more damage to everyone the more legion members are in the batle with the NPC, high end artifacts more than 1000 artifact points ALL become untradeable, or something else along these lines.
2. In the meanwhile, the only way to effectively avoid the rape-fest is to either research pure cloak so your planets and yourself are un-scnnable, and also un-hackable by the majority of players. Another solution people may see is to join an alliance or even join DOO just to avoid the rape-fest. Or if alliance tags are implemented into the game, then people can avoid all DOO players and planets.
3. Even the biggest and baddest alliances fall after a time. It has happened througout history. Roman Empire, Mongols, Soviet Union, Nazi Grmany, British Empire, the Spanish Empire, Ancient Egypt, Chinese dynasties, and so on. Right now, it may be DOO's time of glory, but maybe in 2 months or X-mas or next year or whenever, it won't be the top dog anymore.
4. Regardles whether it's DOO or any alliance's heyday, rise to power, monopoly, decline, or whatever, players should check them out. Not to gang rape, but to help new players, trade planets / artifacts, rich players building up lower players planets with structures, hunt NPC's together, and other co-operative team play. I believe in the mentoring and helping out new players, because we were ALL newbies at one point or another. If the new newbies feel welcome in GL because of mentoring and help, they would be more inclined to stay and play. And the more newbies who stay, we all get more planet spawnings, more PvP targets when the newbies grow up to high levels, and GL gets more interactive.
I'm simply putting an objective viewpoint on both sides of this debate.
