I've noticed every planet except oceanic planets can be turned into a different planet, I know it's because of the oceanics made from icys from the pawlacite thaw mission, but just take the time to read my idea it'll be a mission.

Ocean Acidification:
We've recently discovered that the Rogue Science league are trying to create Acid planets from naturally occurring oceanic planets to improve mining and artifact production on the planet , as well as research since it's a new acid that doesn't harm "Your race", but only Naturally occurring oceanic planets can be transformed into acid planets due to complications with the pH level in melted planets' water. However, we don't know much about the process so we need you to disable some Rogue Planetary Research probes (got a better name?) and return their research on ocean acidification to us and we may be able to make some oceanic acidifiers for you.
Oceanic Acidifier: Transforms any Naturally occurring oceanic into an Acid planet, increasing it's size by 1, mining by 2, artifact by 1, and research by 3.

sound good, or Am I being stupid?

-1 to the mission... Most people want a terraformer for oceanic including me but I doubt it will happen.
Most people suggest Swamps or acids, I would rather re-freeze is shrinking it by 1 and increasing resources by 2. Turniing it into a Artic Planet which would be non - meltable. But of course I doubt that will happen because in the pawlcite thaw mission it says they permanently melt the planet.

So, it would be possible to get a Mega Colossal Irradiated planet?

Let's see-
Quasi up to Massive, then turn into Toxic, then turn into Irradiated Mega Colossal.

We shouldn't forget about all the resources on the planet as well.
15x + 2x + 2x = 19x Mega Colossal for mining
15x + 1x + 2x = 18x Mega Colossal for artifact
15x + 3x + 2x = 20x Mega Colossal for research

It would be like having a planet far better than the Hyper-terraforming mission. And, if this mission can be completed 15 times, then people could have 15 of these planets each; given they haven't used any of their Isolytic Irradiators yet.

*facepalm* acid does NOT mean toxic it's a planet completely covered in acid. Toxic planets are planets with their surfaces covered in and made from volatile substances, not acid.

bump, anyone got an idea to improve this or will a terraformer for oceanic planets will never be implemented?

oceanics are teraformed so probably not its kinda like asking for a transformer for a toxic or a crystal

there are natural oceanics, I have found plenty that are unoccupied and most certainly weren't terraformed and then abandoned

almost all oceanics are natural, and there is a transformer for a toxic. *facepalm*

also , I put in my idea that it can only be used on natural oceanics.

I think it would be difficult for it to differentiate between natural and melted planets.

well, there's probably a code that might be able to discriminate between melted and naturally occurring.

No, there probably isn't, it would probably need to actually look through the history, which might not be something he'd want to do.

There could be, it's just a question of how much strain that would put on the system. I'm not against the idea in general, but it might be too difficult to implement.
