 NPC locks or players lacking to lock.....

Can we please ad a new ability to npc that allow them to regenerate the damage of the players that have not locked in a reward.


As it is now many player will not lock in and leave there slack for someone else to pick up.

and frankly no one wants to waste energy picking up their slack.

However say if after 5 - 10 min of inactivity from a player that has not locked in an npc that said npc would start to recover the damage done by the slacker to give another player a chance to come along and help out and receive a reward for there work.


ie for an example it takes 25k dmg to lock the Dark Command Nexus
and what players are doing is stopping at 20k, then 18k, then 16k ,

so after 10 players have enough points it leaves over 10k for someone else to have to come by and pick up. knowing no one can pass them they stop attacking and lever there slack for someone else to clean up.... lame.....

with this added feature they would have to lock in or the npc would regenerate allowing someone else to lock in there stead.

- 1 i run out of energy all the time on NPCS and i leave and come back in about 40-50 minutes sometimes longer on the bigger ones and shoot it again this would cause me to loose out

5-10m of inactivity? some people are out of energy and waiting up to 15m for the next attack... others are waiting 5m on repairs...
in that time, they may walk away from the computer to go take care of something and might not be back for half an hr...
they have all intentions of doing their own share but just need the time and energy to do so

-10 on your idea
if you're having problems in your legion with partial hitters, threaten to kick them if they don't straighten up their act

I have been told there's a legion out there somewhere having the problem you're describing, with 20 people doing single hits on a reynard, with upwards to 10 Reynards up on the BT
I know plenty of people that'll jump on the chance to do their fair share on 6-10 Reynards... heck, in my legion, Reynards and Queens die before everyone gets to see the alert

I think I know what you mean but I would just like to clarify a litte.

If an elite has say 15,000 hull and there is 1 person(a) locked for exactly 5,000. Someone (b) comes along and does say 4,000, knowing that someone else(c) will have to finish it off. If all c does is lock on then the damage that b did will gradually reduce, which will eventually allow someone else to lock on.

This would give people more incentive to actualy lock on to the elites. BUT as others have said 5-10 mins is not long enough, I would increase that to say 45 mins, this would certainly give someone enough time if they ran out of energy to build back up and try again.
