Post subject:  Module Set Kit - Repeatable Mission

Daily Mission
250 energy per round
350 experiance earned
50 rounds per completion
1 Mass Storage Pod per round
1 Ship Bot per round

Gives

1 Set Kit

Converts a full set of mods into 1 Mod
-possibly +5% to stats-

Great for cleaning up the huge mods list we have to scroll through.

thou possibly to lower the amount of work required for Dan, make it only apply to top tier modules of each series (thou if more from existing series are introduced later, then it can apply to multiple within the same series for those expanded ones)
The reason being Dan will have to make one entry into DB for every existing non-researched module in the game, and that would be a heck lot of work. Making it top-tier only will reduce the work by about half.

Also, if possible, give an option to hide all 0-space module OR put them all in a separate category. Some ppl might wanna know which ones they have but they are just a hindrance in day-to-day play.

Ooh I like this idea. We could then have the Exotic Pulser Kit, Ion Pulse Ballistae Kit, and HyperChannel Relay Kit. This would mean single-click uninstallation/reinstallations then.

A +5% bonus would result in a tiny overall bonus though, as these weapons already add such a small amount of attack. A 5% bonus for the Exotic Pulser would be 4.5 extra attack, and the Ion Pulse Ballistae would give 16 extra attack. And that's total, not per weapon. And i'm guessing the HyperChannel Relay kit wouldn't even get a bonus. Dan has consistently said he will not add any more energy recharge mods.

As a daily mission though...why? After a limited number of completions this mission would become useless.

So do most dailies, its mostly to give the high rollers something to log on for.
Making it a Daily just slows down everyone, otherwise players will just do all their kits in one session.

hey this might just make bupasses worth it.. Lol im JK they suck! as for the mod idea, idk If 5% boosting it a good idea. mostly for the scan part.

I would do this mission for SOME of my modules even if there is no boost.
specifically the energy weapons, relays and some of my energy modules. Saves a lot of clicks around rank up....
granted if each of those only take one click to install/uninstall, I probably won't bother with the other stuff w/o boosts.

Yeah, I think I would also just like to see the set kits, just for the ease of install/uninstall.

Big fat minus 10: Who gets 50 MSPs/ship bots per day? Nobody. Those stockpiled ones will ran out.

High end content, I don't expect anyone to be able to do one a day.

Making it a daily is to prevent players from blasting through the mission.

Giving a new reason to log on everyday.
