New server

 A second individual server.We already have poeple like outcast quiting GL because he has nothing to do.And mabye some benefits from being a higher rank in the first server so it doesn't die.

Dan can't keep up with interesting content to keep high rankers active now. No way would he be able to deal with 2 servers.

-1 Let me give you a few points why I am giving this:
1. It would be nothing more than a reset 2. Yes but they will barely be stronger than you.Right now if you start playing its impossible to be really strong compared to everyone else. When you have loads of poeple with over 50k-150k production getting 20-50 rank points worth in perm effects and hour. |

If he made a second server, He could make it more of a pvp option. Per Month play then reset. Was like that on another game I played which was awesome pissed me off they went to total MMORPG.
To clarify. To servers to options of play, 1 MMORPG you keep going and don't stop till you are infinite. The later being per month. So per month rounds. you play for 30 days at the end of the month you are set back to null. You stay in your same legions same character just rank 1 again. Will required tweeking you can chop it up. Just a suggestion run with it or not. _________________   |

I'm for a new server. I like the idea of playing it from the start, without all the players in front.

This should be integrated as Server split= who ever wants to move to a new server as a legion or individuals  (also less lag and would not mind building new base there as a legion)Would give other legions a chance to become number one..(No offense to the Dysos ) Who knows down the road Dan might add sometime new where both servers have to fight for it at certain times of the week.. Any change is a good thing given the fact we all want changes with in the game.. I was a player of a online game called Conquers and the developers there had to split the server cause of over crowding and it worked out great cause no one had to start over in rankings again..in fact they all liked it .. (except for few that they lost their throne in the old server since members moved to the new one) I quit the game and many others 2 years ago cause the developers got griddy and they still email me to join back with all kinds of bonuses for the returning players..(not gonna happend since they treated us that way, used to spend 40-60 bucks a month for 2 years on that game since it was a good game and many of us supported it) _________________   The Galaxy Pub = A casual place to discuss anything off-topic, whatever suits your mood. - Forum topics are not the proper place to bring up inter-legion conflicts. |

trust me i would love to have another server like you would with tribal wars, battlestar galactica online, etc but theres only 2 massive problems in it.
1. I think dan would be charge to have another server so god knows what he will do to keep the upkeep on another server. 2. Dan is severely understaffed and in no way would be able to keep it organised until he gets a suitable heir to take control on it with him, along with the reshuffle of MOD's who would need to keep an eye on the 2 servers as a team and sadly dan hasnt got that luxurary as you would with say Battlestar Galactica Online. _________________    |

I have seen other games that open new servers, it always sucks the life out of the previous one. If you all want to kill the GL we have been playing for a long time now, then by all means add a new server. Personally I think it would be a stupid move, and would most likely not be playing GL after it killed this server.

(hope I did not miss anything) You did: The fact you can do a completely different build and that there is tons of content for the newbies, which all the old players either barely got to experience. But the issue brought up in my thread was the bandwidth. This server already lags a lot imagine adding a second...triple badges off bases would become common. Still I have seen it kill servers in other games very quickly, and I still think it's a terrible idea.

How do you see resetting (basically) and losing all you have put into the game, and the GP (some have spent a great deal) as the answer to lack of content?
Doing everything we already know (and have done before) again.. just.... ahhh... why? The answer is to have a war feature, and add high end content. Forget a new chain for a month and work on that. Growing the game is the answer, not just doing everything over. _________________  |
