I think if you join a Legion you see any enemies that have alerts out already.
I could be wrong though. Don't quote me. |

No, im sure you get the alerts, only difference is when you leave you dont keep them. But if your not sure try it.

I got to hit a NPC when I ranked 150 although it was shared earlier. I didn't saw the announcement per se but I could hit the NPC nevertheless. I don't see why it should be otherwise with joining a legion while a NPC alert is on.
