Yesterday morning, a member of the Galactic Paladins chose to take a planet from Galaxy. This came as a surprise to us as we have a NAP with Crusaders and our partner legion, Galaxy Desperadoes, has one with the Paladins. There has always remained an understanding between our legions: go get your badges, planets stay home.

Our first step was to initiate diplomacy. As we all know, Kaos proudly displays his banner claiming "Brothers Forever" for the Paladins and Crusaders. Apparently, that means one brother can hide behind a NAP while the other does their dirty work. He barely cared to respond or get involved in any way. As far as he was concerned, no NAP meant the Paladins could do whatever they wanted. Honestly, I have seen better and more open communication from the Dysonians whom he professes to detest.

The Galaxy response was fair. You take one of our planets, we took one of yours. The Paladin response was ruthless, though fairly well managed. Just as our original planet remains in the hands of the Paladins, so does their's remain in ours.

Interestingly enough, well after the initial blood bath, several leaders in the Galactic Paladins have NOW asked if there is a problem and wondering why WE took a planet. Apparently, there is a severe lack of communication from Kaos and in his alliance. As one who speaks so much on these forums, you would think he would communicate with his members, or at least his officers. He could even take the time to respond to a private message sent in this forum. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

This message is for all in the Galactic Paladins Legion who wanted to know, "Why". It should also be informative to those who have a NAP with only one of these two "Brothers" and to be prepared when the other comes calling.

While I was in Paladins with Kaos it appeared that he didn't pay much attention to the comm when he was speaking in it.
On one occasion it took him almost a day to notice an NAP had been broken.
Also when I had asked him about things on the comm such as planets that members had offered to him he had no idea about it.
He doesn't communicate much with the other leaders and officers and just does things without explanation, none of the other leaders were even allowed to do anything except sit there and do as ordered by him, which is why several of us left.

Evidently you don't read very well or very often.

I do not know of any strong legions that accept imaginary NAPs. Of course I could be wrong but the Paladins don't. We are glad to have a NAP with Galaxy Desperados and supported them in several fights. Realistically there is no point for us to have a NAP with their baby legions.

Not only is there no reason, but it is also impossible for us to have a NAP with every baby legion that is tied to a strong legion we are NAP'd with. We would need almost 20 NAP slots just to handle everyone.

Even though that has not been my banner for some time, we are proud to be brothers to the Crusaders. Your comments about hiding are equally as imaginary as your NAPs idea. You know where to find me, it isn't hard. If you want to fight over the planets I completely understand and that is your right. That would be a much more genuine response than making up things in a thread.

If you would like to join our legion and have a say in how we respond to the DOZENS of requests we get, feel free to PM me.

How is my behavior chaotic? All he did was make up an imaginary NAP and post to the forum that because he made this up, we are bad people for not honoring it. He even ignored previous posts to the forum that were started because we had this same problem with them before.

Would you agree to a NAP with someone just because they said that they thought you should and you would be a bad person if you didn't?

Helloooo, Mr Gaaaaalaaaaaxy?

Are you still there?

You made up things to put in a thread and then you don't even respond to the comments?

I have a pretty good Galaxy planet on scan and I need to know if you are going to stop making up such silliness or should I go ahead and take it?

Well, you did make him wait 3 weeks for a reply, perhaps he deserves more time too...

Actually we responded to his diplomatic comm messages on 5/9/11 and then also reposted your comment in the thread I quoted on 5/9. He ignored those and started this thread anyway on 5/10. Galaxy sent us some recent messages and then we found this thread.

You responded to the comm message, and it was responded to rather poorly. Of course, before I posted this thread I sent you a direct message into your in box on this forum. But, I guess you don't read very often because you never responded to it. At least you finally got around to responding to this one almost a month later. That is okay. Decisions have been made...
