I'm sorry. But one too many times have I been alerted at CoG over a badge hit. This marks the third or fourth time I have been alerted there and I will continue to hit your members from my battle tab should they spawn there. I carry no scan. If they don't like me finding them tell them to cloak up - it's not my problem.
I do not know what your legion has against me, but from now on if any one of your members hits me for a badge etc. I will alert them, merely because this is the strategy they have taken.

Dunno what Anna will think of your reaction. I'd support this though. Thing is, you need to come back first, when you heading back?

I stand on the premise that a Hack, disable or raid as an assault on my ship, if you comm me "badging" it's still an assault on my ship and a theft of my RP,AP or minerals, sometimes i let it slide but any action against another ship should be fully prepared for a all out counter attack and not be a surprise to you.

I don't leave comm messages. Many find it offensive and it's a waste of energy. (Lose a kill every 5ish kills at my rank).
I don't mind being alerted. It's when I have the same names coming up for hitting on alerts.

- Greenspleef is unaware of what's going on within his own legion.
- Greenspleef cannot control the members of his own legion.
- Greenspleef has a bad memory and forgot the multiple PM discussion about StrmAvenger being frequently improperly alerted to Children of Gods and his assurance that it would not happen again.
- Greenspleef lied to me.
Regardless, of the answer, any and all of Vygoid Genome's ships have the full support of myself and our allies, thus all future offensive actions by CoG ships upon VG can henceforth be considered alertable offenses until this situation is personally resolved by Greenspleef.

Thanks Anna.
Just to clarify, we are NOT declaring war... yet. Merely putting CoG on an instant alert status.
EDIT: Added something to more accurately describe the situation.

EDIT: Added something to more accurately describe the situation. Seriously. What's the difference? KoS, full blown war, instant alert. All amounts to the same thing...

Actually, I can't stand it... I don't mind if they post something more interesting than just "badge" (ya know, like a friendly tip or something we can have a laugh about).
But we're getting off topic. There was a thread about this ages ago...

The major difference is that a kill-on-sight order or declaration of war would mean we and our allies are actively seeking their ships and planets, as opposed to playing our own game, doing missions, etc.

well, all i've been told is that he is attacking my legion i have to assume that they are not lying to me i have instructed the members of my legion that badge hit alerts are bad, and to only alert someone if they repeatedly attack them people are people and will do as they do for whatever reason they do it no one can control another's actions i promise i will do my best to make sure this doesn't happen again, but i have enough headaches at this time, my attention is split between various things COG is full of young headstrong players newish to the game, and they might not yet understand the reasons for limiting alerts, so i will do my best to explain proper protocol, yet again <sigh> and anna i don't lie, so please don't think that i do, i've gotten into various instances of trouble for standing up for what i believe is just and fair LOL

So many other people in this game would come on here and it would turn into a "He said" "She Said" yelling match that would devolve into most likely war. But you handled the situation perfectly without losing your cool or POing the people you were talking to...Galaxy Legion needs more leaders like you my friend. (I side with no one in this argument but I felt compelled to voice my feelings on how he responded to all of this.)

Terrorize wrote: Who gets offended by people leaving a polite comm message after a single (double if raid also) O.o Yes, who indeed?
I can think of a few legions that are just unbareable. Badging one of them is like saying: Hi, I want to fight all of you for the next few days. So since there isn't a requirement to fight back and this game is set up to where I can adequately ignore them by doing other things, I enjoy my daily hack and disable XD
