You took a Crusader planet and were given a chance to negotiate its return, your members ignored that. In several attempts to contact you, members of your legion responded directly to me that they would not give up the planet. After days of being hunted by us, you abandoned the planet.

Before abandoning our planet, you destroyed all the mission artifacts on it. Either your members are idiots or they are jerks, either way demolishing irreplaceable resource artifacts on a planet is not excusable.

You were warned that if you did not return the planet immediately, you would be hunted by us. Even though you did not respond to our repeated attempts to negotiate, you believe that just abandoning the planet should give you a pass.

It does not.

If you wish to end this, two of your legion's leaders must come here and publicly surrender. You have until 2400 Zulu time to respond.

So now it's down to name-calling? Nobody came directly to me about the issue, which would have been the better route, I think. I would have seen it done without the threats.

I did come to you directly and it took you 4 days to respond. Your response was acrimonious. Also one of your members posted directly on my ships comm that your legion refused to give up the planet and considered it your legions right to take what you liked.

It is not a threat to say "Give us our planet back immediately or we will attack you and take several of your planets in return." It is a warning which you did not reply to for days. A spiteful action days later is not anyone's idea of "immediate".

To infer that all this was a result of our behavior instead of the mismanagement of your legion and inability to control your members is false. Because your reply is sarcastic and untruthful we cannot accept it.

I responded as soon as I saw your message, within minutes, in fact. I also told you I don't check the forum every day, and I was anything but hateful. Okay, I'll make it simpler...

The Brotherhood surrenders, and I also publicly apologize for whatever inappropriate actions members of my legion may have done (comm posts or otherwise).

Not really interested anymore. I gave you leader several chances that he has ignored, lied about or responded derisively to. The more I deal with you the more I believe you deserved everything that has happened to you.

I am not going to waste my time making peace with a disrespectful rabble posing as a legion.

Tried that route and got nowhere. As stated above, I can send the full transcripts of all my communications with him offering a laurel wreath, which were all basically thrown back in my face. We surrendered as he demanded, and he rejected it for inane reasons, so I get pissy. Who wouldn't? Can't help it, I'm Irish.

well i could care less what happened in the past. i care about the state of things in the present. if they are favorable, great, if not fix it. so my advice to you is suck it up and do what you need to do to get a favorable outcome. if that outcome is giving back the planet plus apologizing for disrespect then do it. if you choose to say the demands are unreasonable, suck it up and fight it out.

What comes around goes around, Kaos is notorious for taking other peeps planets, but gets his panties in a bunch when it happens to him. I been thru this with Kaos as well. It's just a game, live with it.

While it was impressive how far the brotherhood went in dealing with Validity, getting mercenaries from several legions is my recollection via forum advertisement...

I dont know Validity's remarks candidly but i saw enough of those who were gangbanging him on his page as it were to be certain there was no honor being unpheld, simply someone who had been prey turning predator....

If memory serves Validity got involved cause one of his members had been picked over like a scarecrow....

from what i can, it seems to be if you can hold it, its yours and thats it....
