I started a successful legion at rank 20 which grew into the top 25. Don't believe the BS about having to be a certain rank. It's just a recruiting tactic. Good luck!

I want to start building a legion: Some facts about me -im a rank 76 (been playing for 4 months) -I have plenty of EM (over 700000 em) -I have an insane rep with over 400 kills -I buy 200GP every 2 months -I have finished researching CT LAB -I have over 40 billion credits And finally I have the determination to start a really good legion I'm looking for anyone with: -a minimum rank of 40 -has finished researched Ai logistic -who logs in everyday -will assist me in decisions -will be my partner ps: can be a training legion for another legion |

What level are you? What are your stats? How long have you been playing? If you're looking for someone to help you, you'll likely need to answer these questions and a bunch of other ones. You'll also want to put in a *lot* more effort for a sales pitch. |

due low rank, you would most probably have problems with funding your base. Thus consider to join a vital legoin, learn from leaders/officers, build your resource income, CTP and EM stash prior starting a legion on your own. Btw, are you interested in research or artifact? |

With the influx of GP, he could actually fund his base rather well. Buy 1 flux, sell it for 70K Ku in one of the trading groups, and easily fund his base through that. Although, that being said, I do think with his rank it'd be better to join an existing legion for now. A decent arti one would probably be best. |

Rank comes into play, regardless of how big of a spender that is. I think a minimum of rank 500 is a okay if someone is interested in starting a legion and make it actually survive. |

I think you could get away with starting it at a lower rank and having it survive, but you'll definitely want at least several hundred levels in, and 500+ would definitely be best. |

I'll offer to help you build the base. I have tons of credits to fund the base (few hundred billion). I have previous experience in building bases and I have base research researched. |

Or if you want to quickly be able to build and support a level 5 base so you close the production gap from being in a legion with a lower base level. This is especially important for low ranks since a lot of them run some pretty tough ships for their rank. |

With 100+ legions leveled 5 and up, it is only natural that someone should get some ranks and production on his ship before running off trying to make a legion. It was much different years back. Sure you will have fun building the legion now, but it isn't making to top 25 at least in next 2 and a half years. |

That was a long time ago, as well. These days you have easily several dozen legions that are level 5+, so you'll want to close the gap pretty quickly in order to make up starting your own legion compared to what you'd earn from joining an existing legion. |
