What's going on? I'm pretty sure the word "Soon" doesn't mean months.

Ehh the fact of the matter is Dan said the 2nd part would be released soon, soon does not mean a few days off a month. But if you are willing to live with promises that mean nothing, good on you. That makes you the biggest bozo to ever bozo this planet.

its quite simple really, dan waited so he would have something to fill the 2 week void between the thanksgiving mission and the christmas mission, quite simple logic if you really think about it.

On the 2nd November, the Litheor Chain was archived and Part 1 of the final mission was released - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29797These missions last 2 weeks, so that means the 2nd Part at the earliest would've been scheduled for release on 16th November. So we technically had a delay of what, 11 Days? Easily explained by the fact that during those 11 Days, the thanksgiving event was finishing up(which in of itself had its own mission as well as an NPC hunt). Please tell me good Sir, where this "month" wait comes in that you seem to have convinced yourself of? To me, 11 days most certainly does constitute "soon".

Dan's post @ Fri Nov 02, 2012 7:26 pm "As usual, the missions must now be done in that order - so you will likely need to complete some of the earlier parts if you started later. Unlike previous chains, this one has a 2-part ending. The final mission in the chain (as well as its associated medal) will be released soon. Good luck!" Dan's post @ Wed Nov 28, 2012 4:44 pm "The final mission in the Litheor chain has been added, as well as its associated medals. Good Luck!" 26 days, is near on a month.

So you just glossed over my entire post huh, cuz i clearly explained; the first 2 weeks(or 14 days for simplicity) of your "26 days" was when Part 1 of the mission was running.Did you want the missions to run concurrently or something? So as i said, 11 days was the waiting time, which is considered "soon" after Part 1 finished.

disclaimer before I even begin: I didn't pay any attention to the bi-weekly mission bar for pretty much this entire month
was the first part of this two part mission actually a bi-weekly (as in placed in the bar), or was it just archived and added to the list of available missions?
if it wasn't in the bi-weekly slot, then the 14 day run period doesn't really apply so it has been nearly a month (just playing devils advocate here)

So if you buy some artifacts off someone and they reply; "ill send them soon". To you they can take 2 weeks and u wont care.
soon is a very short period of time, not weeks or near a month. Either way I look at it, if Dan says something is coming soon, I wont expect it for a month.

I'm so glad you'll wait next time, save the grief of these posts. Dan mission timing was perfect, gives me something to do all month for nov and dec, thanks. --myst
