If your not willing to be at the very least civil then don't talk at all, we don't need rudeness in the game thats one of many things thats killing it.

And I said that with the higher TM limit that we would have people that keep getting more and more people showing up on the BT that have already been zeroed, now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that HALF of what the issue this thread addressed?

Regardless the idea to make a bump button is a good idea the idea to remove passive players all together isn't this is a game for more then just PVP you have to learn to share the game with them just like they have to learn to share with others.

So take what you can get and be happy with it.

Didn't you say the same thing about the tm limit? :P

I did and they wasnt happy about that change either......and I did say the issue of zeroed people showing up on the BT would happen and looks like i called it...

A- Now you know why you don't disturb the sith without permission

B- anyone can find someone halyced. I love springing them myself cuz if i don't get them odds are someone else will in about a hour or so. would i prefer a red instead? of course i would but either way they are off my bt.

C-Bumping them... its what we do now, i suppose only 5 energy would be less cost than what may be now, but if you are goin to fix it why not fix it right?

D-Sharing the game... i'm confused as to how having someone who is halyed/calmamped not show on the bt is not sharing the game.... they can't get hit while its up in any event.

I say keep the restriction. Why? Because there are to many players that would abuse the fact you can spam them and then zero the hacks and raids of everyone else they find, this would mean that other players cant hit the already zeroed players robbing them of badges/metal points.

Thats what I said as for the thread viewtopic.php?f=6&t=27912

Sigh... I was being civil to you (against my better judgement btw) until you made a claim to 2 predictions (neither of which are relevent) and continued your crusade for a "bump" button.

I'll type slowly this time so you can follow along (because yes, you are wrong)...

(1) You don't need to use TMs to reset any timers to allow you to disable more people (including zeroing their disable count).
(2) There already IS a bump button. AND it costs 5 energy in most circumstances. It's called the Attack button. NAPs and players with active Truced or Pacified effects get bumped at 0 energy cost by clicking Attack then refreshing your BT. The ONLY problem is people with zero DISABLES cannot be removed currently which is 100% of the problem. There is NO reason why the current coding for Truced/Pacified attack-fail cannot be applied to ships with </= 0 disables. Now why in the world would ANYONE want a bump button added that requires 5 energy to do WHAT WE CAN DO AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO FOR 0 ENERGY???

I was using the TMs as a example saying that i said we would see a thread about zeroed people on the BT, and then if you want those people that are zeroed and you cant bump just make it the same as when you bump someone thats passive or that has a nap.

Everyone got so caught up on the comment i made about

This type of ship should not even show up on someone's BT. If there is no way of doing that, can they at least get treated the same as a Halc'd/Truced ship where you can click and refresh them away?
this bit.

Except the fact that you are still arguing against such simplicity even though none of the facts are in your favor.

So your saying that making it so hitting the attack button to bump off a zeroed person isnt simple?

Shouldn't we be saying that to you; the guy who's arguing against it?

I was against the idea of removing them altogether so they wouldn't show up on the BT period....

something about it being to hard to code i think. he supports a "bump" feature though if i read his comments right.

One because it was mentioned even if it might of been sarcastic and that it would be the more complex answer to a simple issue.

As was pointed out above, "the issue of zeroed people showing up on the BT" existed before the TM limit went up and is actually completely unrelated*. I'm betting the chances of you admitting that you're conflating two unrelated things to push your "pacificity" agenda are pretty low though.

*TMs are not required to kill ships, only energy.

your an idiot. im not saying people who have an untripped halc shouldnt show up, im saying those already under the effects of a tripped halc or calming amp dont show up. or those with zero disables.. why would someone with ZERO disables be showing up as an attackable opponent
