Does the completion or failure of legion missions affect that legions' rank score?
I've been unable to find the answer online. Thank you.

I've been unable to find the answer online. Thank you. No, the rank score is literally just the sum of all members' ranks. That's the way it's always been. Likewise, strength is simply the sum of all members' attack and defense.

From what I've observed, it's the average rank/strength of all members multiplied by the number of active members. Try kicking a low rank inactive and you'll see what I mean. Your legion's rank and strength will jump up rather than drop slightly down.

The average values shown on the legion tab are the sums of all members' ranks/strengths (both active and inactive) divided by the number of legion members (again, both active and inactive), then rounded to the nearest integer. The values on the leaderboard are those rounded values from the legion tab multiplied by the number of active members in your legion.

If, as you say, legion rank is simply the sum of all member's attack and defense, why is there a separate table just for strength ranking?

Legion Strength is the sum of the strengths. Exactly as described. Two different things, so two different tables.
