If someone is leaving the game they should be able to transfer or give their planets to people. That could be a viable option next to abandon. You can still charge 5 gp if you want but that way a legion can get use out of planets.

They already can. You pay 5 GP to abandon, and then alert the planet. Can do 1 per day.

I am talking about giving over all artifacts on that planet in addition to the planet itself. abandon takes all of the artifacts off of it

Because noone would ever abuse that, right? It's bad enough already with all those Inergons quickly ranking to 95ish, then 'selling' their melters.

Dan should make that the Pawlacite chain can only be done after 1 or 2 years of play, or something like that.

Gameplay time doesn't reset when a player does though, and a year sounds like way OTT to prevent that sort of abuse. Not sure how long it takes someone to hit 95 but I'm betting there's a specific correct order of play that reduces it down to hours rather than weeks or months.

Maybe change Un-gray Requirements: ship not too damaged, must invade and occupy at least one Icy Planet that's been calm for over 3 Months
