If the human race can have the advantage of gaining extra Xp then could we also have a race that reduces Xp gain? (-10% ep gain) Allowing the player to do extra missions without the fear of ranking too fast...

At first this sounds stupid... but... as a lvl 111 i want to do missions and get unique parts for my ship but dont want to miss out on NPC drops cos i ranked too quickly. In most cases ranking is welcomed, but when trying to maintain a powerful ship it can just be an annoyance.

+1! Say the race has a -10% to all XP gains?

At first this idea sounded completely stupid to me but the possibility of doing more missions, damn that's tempting

Perhars also add another bonus, maybe 2.5% bonus to all other stats except energy

increase to max energy sounds like an Inergen perk... what reason would those strange blue creatures serve if a second race had a better version of their bonus...

I don't think you would like this as a permanent feature maybe a learned ability for example this could cost 100 energy and then for the rest of the level your xp is cut back a certain amount.

People rank slow only so that that planet production can produce more advance technologies and accumulate Rescued Prisoners, Shipbots, X charge Cells, Durtanium Brackets and androids.
Those artifacts is what makes a slow ranker strong.

Maybe bonus 10% Artifact and Research?
I mean Inactives rank slow but there ships don't get any stronger. Only good to rank slow if you have enormous planet productions.

but slow ranking in the conventional way is a chore.. it is boring and time consuming (obviously) having a reduced xp gain as your race bonus means you could enjoy the game, spending energy quicker than it accumulates, like all other non-slow ranking players.

what about the original of -10% energy but +10% credit gains, since the ongoing costs could become a pain

I hate slow ranking but +1 to the race though. the advantage about fast ranking is more planets slots faster and constant energy refills, but then you gotta think about NPCs and other players.

But slow rankers usually are stronger overall. Fast ranks can get things done faster, but we most likely have better cores.

Neural Interface "Enhances your situational awareness, increasing all experience gains by 15% for 20 minutes." 3500 Points

Neural Feedback "Dulls your situational awareness, decreasing all experience gains by 30% for 20 minutes." 3500 Points

Requires no extra race, and all the crazy that would come with a new race added.
Some times simple works as well as complex.

how about instead of neural feedback, make it Bottle of Vodka: -30% xp for 20 minutes. Stackable. Chance to black out when used, 0% on the first use, increases by 10% each use (all energy reduced to zero.) :P

lol, I understood you meant that - but not everyone picks up on that kind of thing. You get some people on here who really shouldn't be (10, 11 year olds)
