i like your ideas for artifacts. but i was thinking more like a tactical targetting system that would target 5 of the enemies defenses OR shields. must have the shields down for it to work. but yeah, your ideas are pretty solid!

OR
Reaver 500 badges Size: 30 Attack: 180 + 5% bonus damage against sheilds

How about a mission that uses red badge?
It could be called "The Red Badge of Killing" haha.
It would use Vekno's idea of Zortahs, take a decent amount of energy and give xp and ultimately an upgrade to Dominion cannons?

agreed common booster would be better as red badges mostly from kills so it seems logical

why? a thetacron field is 1000 attack for 2 space. if i wanted that id just build a thetacron field. i like the 2k attack + doubling bonus, mainly cause it makes it so its better then the researched minefields...

ok this topic seems to have gone silent comeon people lets make everyone who plays this game read this topic ok
red badges for disabling a player would indicate an offensive upgrade possible planet weapon blue for defence
i have 2 ideas 50 red badges upgrades the dominion cannon by 20+ attack and 100 badges 40+ every 50 badges another 20 is added times that by 4 cannons
the next idea as many pointed out is a planet weapon i call ionic plasma cannon (IPC) for the planet providing around 1k attack making minefields obsolete 2 per planet requires 100 each red badges

Also, It's not too overpowered because (correct me if I'm wrong, but it's like this at my level) the defensive structures give more invasion defence/space than minefields, and it'd be far easier to grind down the population on the targeted planet.

How about about a special torpedo used by your dominion cannons (ie cant be used unless you have all 4 installed and active)
Item: Sidespace Torpedo Effect: Bypasses cap limit on planet attacks (20 pop per hit), pushes your full assault against the planets attack and defence combined. One shot per torpedo. Cost: 100 Red Badges Ideal for: Initial strikes on planet so pop is heavily hit before person knows youre there. Also undefended planets in any way at all may suffer critical hit if your weapons are powerful enough, reducing population to invasion ready in one hit.
