I did a search on this topic, but surprisingly I couldn't find anything recent on it (Ie in the last 6 months), other than a few random posts where specific new rewards were suggested. But there aren't any dedicated topics so I thought i'd make one for a serious discussion.
Most mid-high rank players now know that the mission completion rewards end once you reach 90 missions completed (24th tier), with the reward being the Chron-Pulse Drive.
But why do they end at this particular point?I'd like to see more of these rewards with some new tiers being added. Afterall, more missions are being added to the game over time, so why have the completion rewards been ignored since September 2010? (When the Chron-Pulse Drive was added as the final, tier 24 reward) I haven't got any specific ideas for what the rewards could be just yet - so feel free to post ideas.
Since the Chron-Pulse Drive was added as the final reward, the game has undergone a lot of changes; bases have been added, the Galactic Trade Center was added, Daily Missions, selectable and unlockable ship designs, player titles, medals, ship allies, the battle tab market, the mission tab market, legion missions, the Universal Service Terminal, the Theory Lab. So there are entire sections of the game that currently are completely ignored by the ending of the mission completion rewards. These could be easily exploited to come up with new ship mods/planet mods/allies/abilities/medals/ship designs that don't just rehash what we already have. Or alternatively and for simplicity, we could even just have enhanced versions of earlier rewards, Eg. a Harmonic Resonator Mk2, which gives a +15 shield recharge bonus.
So Dan, I ask you; why do the mission completion rewards end at 90 missions/tier 24? Can we have more?
