We all see a lot of limited artifacts that are wasted on less than desirable planets. Many players don't realize they can never get that shiny toy back. Sure, you can look it up, but many players don't know where to look. A simple fix would be to have a little colored symbol in the description to show that the item can not be extracted once placed. Maybe a tool tip that pops up when you hover on it.

This would be extremely helpful for everyone whether rebuilding their own planets or considering taking an enemy's.

Step 1: Complain that the Forums are dead. Step 2: Complain that the Wiki is for elitists. Step 3: Create a reason for less people to use them.

-1. http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/ ... _Extractoranyone looking to build up a planet properly who is NOT using the wiki or some other in.legion resource deserves to have the artis stolen from them / go to waste.

Artifacts descriptions should be accurate. The wiki shouldn't have to be an errata for the artifacts, it should be for exploring the possibilities outside of what the guided information in the game provides (e.g. what missions are in a chain with what drops). Compare the following: Mylarai Build Extractor wrote: Allows extraction of 1 special structure from a planet, so it can be built elsewhere. Temporal Flux Orb wrote: This device hides one of your planets from the lists of all others who have currently scanned it. The flux does not remove any active Alerts on the planet, although they will expire normally. Cannot be used on planets that have been attacked in the past week. I believe that all artifacts should be as accurately described in game as the temp flux. In the case of extractors, it would make sense to mark what are or aren't eligible targets given the number of possible interactions. I'm curious if you can provide any compelling reason for the game to provide incomplete or down-right misleading descriptions on artifacts, or obscure their usefulness.

and what happens when a new artifact come out? whoever uses it first get shafted in the *beep*? And frankly, the list is growing, not a particularly easy thing to keep track of if you are moving tons of crap around. Anyone who claims that the wiki is omnipotent is oblivious to the fact that the game is still growing. User that argument when Dan call quits, k?

Anyone who claims that the wiki is omnipotent is oblivious to the fact that the game is still growing. User that argument when Dan call quits, k? for any new arti that shows up, it is safe to assume that it is NON.extractable unless someone discovers otherwise. so don't put them on any planets that you need to watch like a hawk. no one said the wiki was omnipotent, but the OP stated that there are folks that do not know where to look. so i provided the link. the idea of a pop.up for non.extractable items seemed to me to be making the forum and wiki superfluous as DF noted, so i gave the original suggestion a -1 since i think that dedicated players should be willing to go the extra mile (or click) to get an advantage over more casual players. should there be better guides in.game for new players ? definitely. but the wiki and forum should not just be add.ons to gameplay, especially for more experienced players. if anyone sees deficiencies in the wiki info ... they are more than welcome to contribute.

So, you don't think accurate information should be available to all players? Just dedicated ones? and your definition of dedicated is "Well, they use the forum/wiki" If that's your opinion on who deserves accurate and non-conflicting information then I honestly hope that you never create a game~

Really? This minor addition would make the wiki useless huh? Cool! That will save some time for everyone. Oh and good job posting the wiki link. That should mean the end of all questions. We should probably do away with the beginner's section of the forum too since we got it covered now.

Had an annoying time with that with the Raix Bunker, the description doesn't quite live up to the reality, but I suspect that like most things it'll never be changed.

YAY! wiki usefulness! links to the forum posts are provided for these legion missions at: http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/ ... n_Missions: as there is still so much that is incomplete / unavailable via the forum posts. when folks actually post usable info, then the page gets created. otherwise, i just wait until we get the legion mission for ourselves so that i can confirm the previous info. this comes after multiple editors having to constantly edit and re.edit the original set of legion missions for bad info. back on topic, if there really is a major issue with non.extractable artis, Dan should have a popup show up when you try to build the structure on a planet with an indication that the building is non.extractable and an 'are you sure'. same goes with building upgrades that make a previously extractable structure non.extractable. that 'helps' the newbies and would also prevent the 'waste' of new non.extractable artis that get released. a symbol would only help those trying to avoid wasting their Mylarai Build Extractors, which i still don't think is worthy of the effort.
