I think 2 idea's would be cool about managing your own traps on your ship...

1st idea: that you can shuffle around yoru traps to go off in order.. or if someone has inturupted the order you put them in by triggering perhaps 1 or 2 of the 4 you might have, that you can re-apply the ones triggered and re-arange them back to the way you had them..

2nd idea: would be nice if you can cancel a trap.. aka deactivate it... get rid of it .. this method would be good for example, if your trap is gong to wear off soon; say in 30 min.. or 15 min .. whatever. .. but you just remembered you got some party to go to and you'll be away from your game for several hours and the thing that makes it worse, is you gotta go NOW and you can't stick around waiting till trap expires to re-add another one... or you wanna spend the night over your girl's house.. you get the idea.. well, you certainly wouldn't want to leave your ship unprotected for 2 hour to 24 hours, would you? .. well, if you where to cancel that trap, then re-add a new one, you could go on a couple days vacation or do the things mentioned and the traps will last their normal duration of 6 to 7 days as they always have.... After all, is your trap, you should be able to do what you want with them.... Or, perhaps a method where when you unload the trap; the duration of the time that was left on is; can be put back into your cargo, then you can re-apply it for that remaining 30 min or something tarded like that .. or get a some money to scrap it ..... or the trap can simply disappear forever on the one you canceled.... many ways to mix it up..

i ALWAYS protect my 'ship' at my girls house... lol.

yeah, im all for the srategic armament of traps (i think i suggested it before, setting damage thresholds for traps, ie a halc would go off at 10% health so that you cant have low levels burn through your traps, it would HAVE to be the player that would kill you)

as for disarming traps, this could be useful. although woult the trap either be trashed or recycled back to the cargo inventory?

The simplest thing would be for the trap to just disappear.

As stated in my novel above; it would be either / or ... depending on the Developers thoughts.. preferably i'd like it to go back to cargo bay... if you ever get in a small skermish and you've seen them keep attacking you; you should whip out a trap that's nearing to expire or however long it had left when you took it offline to your cargo, and re-install it... since they'll be attacking you momentary, you won't have to worry about trap going to waste...

but out of all of it, i'd like ability, if i had to pick between the 2 thoughts, to have it allow me to reorder the way my traps go off..
