If you analyze most of your complaints you will realize they are created by your play style.

If Dan allows infinate exponential growth, the math dictates that eventually it would be possible to own the whole galaxy. Given that chance you would.

Basically in a realistic model, you have two choices. Supernova or Black Hole. as you find analogies more offensive than actual abuse. ill simplify.

I just wanted to point out, that if you keep getting ridiculous amounts of credits, you will keep growing and growing, forever, but alas this model galaxy is finite and it just cannot be. You have said yourself that you have grown so big that the game is practically void of things to do, you have completed the game so to speak. Yet you still need to grow. More than that you expect everything to be done to facilitate your growth.

Please consider how you are the one hurting your own game play. If you are relying on the random gifts to get you even further ahead, know that you grasp is now exceeding your reach. You have capped out, this was inevitable with your play style. Dan's recent changes, may well have sped that up, but only ever so slightly. Eventually you would have always encountered the same problem, as will we all one day.

If anything this is a huge lesson to the rest of us, it tells us that just mindlessly gaining Rank for the sake of it, will use up this finite game and leave us desperately wanting more. I too am addicted to this game, and I cannot imagine the horror of not getting my fix or having nothing left to do.

I can often be a sharp tongued opinionated git, and I am sorry, I really thought most would find it amusing. After reading these forums religiously for many months I felt sure my humor would fit in. I honestly figured you were a bullet proof tough guy, I had no idea that inside you were truly in pain.

I'm a bit of a troll, no more or less than anyone else when the have a point to prove, and fools to prove it to.

I do not however just post to troll, there is a point to what i'm saying.

To date I have only made one post that I would consider trolling. This one is not it. (even the 14yo kid took it on the chin)

Whether your jealous, envious or whatever other issues you have that requires you to troll (You admit that you trolled a 14 year old's topic. That's sad and pitiful), you should find a more constructive way to feel better about yourself.

One of your problems is that you make broad, generalized, exaggerated statements/opinions that has nothing to do with the topic being discussed. This is a forum to discuss suggestions and ideas about the game. Learn some courtesy and keep your "polite" words to yourself and actually post something that adds to what's being discussed.

Saying that you "know that there are many who will agree with me", and others such statement where you "know" what they are thinking or what they believe in, shows how delusional you are. It might make you feel better but sadly doesn't make it true.

Whatever that's lacking in your life that makes you need to do these things, your not going to find here. Step back from yourself and no matter how painful it is to examine your inner self take the time to find a positive way to help yourself.

I am only a level 350, but I got to the point that everything got way too expensive for me. To correct that, I scaled back artifact production in favor of mineral production and became a Mylairi in order to enrich my mining planets repeatedly. Now, I may have a daily upkeep of 3.5 (I still cannot easily afford to equip my ship with the best toys I can build), but my cash inflow easily exceeds that. Heck, my overnight production is usually enough to cover it (provided I wake up in time).

My advice to Frail, however, is if you do not wish to restart you should find a new goal at your level. I don't know anything about you, but if I were at that level I would focus nearly all of my energy at meeting legion goals instead. Granted, that may not appeal to you. If not, just figure out what would appeal to you.

People will ALWAYS find crap to complain about. But by having both in the hat there is a chance of getting either. Therefore that's 2 chances at a form of credit conversion (or mineral purchase or selling or saving) that can cover each end of concern. How much of a chance would this cost the other possibilities?

Most of the time I myself prefer cube, matrix or research, there may come a time when I prefer credits... if all are equal chances that's one thing. I suspect that they all however might have specific variables. If trimatrix had 10%, energy cube 20% etc... Then minerals and credits could each occupy a single %marker that is split in have for each of them. AND without compromising the odds of getting the other draws. So yeah, there is enough room in the galaxy for both minerals and credits AND without sacrificing the odds of the other draws.

Split that baby in half for each!

I love this game, and want to be part of this community, I regret alienating myself from you all by dissing your hero.

I have topped 100b daily on the old system, the mineral reward is worth about 3b to me now. btw, rank 500 is about max mineral "quality" averaging 40k / mineral net sell value. Planet cost goes as x^3 while the daily seemed to be proportional to x^2. Now, unfortunately you are going to be limited to income (linear, and more mining planets causes the cost to go up more than it's worth). Unfortunately, above 300 planets it's just not going to be possible to expand that fast anymore. All you can do is upgrade what you have and drop the smaller ones. That's about 1/2 the reason I decided it's faster just to reset, dumping the crap planets automatically (wish I had chosen that before I spent about 200 GP on abandons but meh), pick up some from legion mates and focus on planets with the best 15x upgrade potential meaning size is all that matters, and limiting mining planets severely.
