 Seperate Defense/Shields

In the ship tab, there is one category for these two, please separate them, it is starting to get to the point where it is getting to cluttered

i've been meaning to suggest that...

same goes for scan and cloak... it's bad enough there's 2 types of cloaks, and 2 types of defenses....

I'd like to see a tabbed window for building new defenses with the labels Thrusters, Dampeners, and Shields
and I'd like to see a tabbed window for building new devices with the labels Cloaks, Jammers, and Scanners

also, might as well put tabs on the building new energy modules window... Reactors and Relays.... (and sort the relays properly.... are hyperchannel relays still appearing in the middle of the list?)

One of the things that would really help (and I know mentioned before) would be to move all the tier bonus items out to a different list. You can't uninstall them and they don't take up space so they just clutter the list. While it is a small amount of things, it is a start.

I do agree that it would be nice to see sub-tabs on the lists:
Energy
-Relays
-Reactors
-Other (not sure what fits here, maybe the combined reactor/shield or reactor/scan)
-Tier Reward

yea I'm all for the defense / shields list split and the cloak / scanners split meaning to suggest that to. Other then that I wouldn't bother

+1 to have more breakdowns of components! Plus the effect needs to have more breakdown! The effect of traps+ buff % are starting to clutter too much.. Buff % should be in NEW tab: Modifications while keep effect intact for traps/artifact effects..

+1 definately getting cluttered up.

and +1 to what Nocifer was suggesting about splitting buffs you can remove, and buffs you can't remove: %-buffs, trap effects that they triggered, mission buffs, etc

i agree the defences and shields are getting cluttered, having two tabs one for each will make finding your modules much easier, maybe in order to have seperate tabs you have to meet certain requirments first

+1 it has been way too cluttered for way too long, seperating the ship page tabs to show each class of components and an extra % buff tab on ship display is a good direction to go in i feel.

Whilst I would LOVE to see this, what happens with module-based rewards, for example the Taltherian Def-Opt? From what i've read, it gives you 1 helmsman per online shield and defence module. If they get split into separate categories, will this affect that artifact? I hope not.

how about instead of wedging NPC and misc artifacts under loose fit categories, just introduce a new one for all your NPC/Mission stuff.
