+1 To this idea, and hoepfully dan see's this soon and makes some change before he decided to make cannons higher then mk.3 after people have all 4 D:
Like hitting a Upgrade button next to the module so you can buy/replace it with a Mk2-3 or w/e for a reduced cost.

I got a better example, If you buy a console game, beat it and have little else to do with it, you can sell it/trade it in at a game/gamestation store where you will get money of a new one
