 Missle Counters

My suggestion here which is badly needed is to have missle counters. Submarines have counter measures to torpedos, and planes have counter measures to missles, so we should be able to have some type of ability to where we have a greater percentage to avoid containment missles

Why not make something you can put on the ship to have that ability? maybe a new counter measure art? To me its rediculous that people can just mess with you whenever they want, and keep throwing containment missles at you just to be an a**. And the fact that there is no defense to it is an unbalance that needs to be fixed.

Yes can you drill the guy and fight back, even alert him if neccessary, yes, but thats beside the point. I personally hardly alert anyone, much less for a missle hit. There is so much technology that is on our ships that one of the basic things is missing,,, missle counter measures,,,, every ship needs to be able to have this abilty and Im asking that everyone come and leave a message in favor of this as it helps EVERY ship to better defend itself :)

I see that bases have a counter measure counter on it but I yet to see any being used would be cool on our ships I agree! +1

a new form of cloak maybe...one that makes duplicates of ur ship so that the missiles target the wrong one until there are no more duplicates?

Sounds like a good idea... make a new artifact that's somewhat rare, like a 2 hr effect: Any containment missiles fired at you will reroute to it's controller instead. That way you can actually do a big ship boost once in a while without worrying about some guy messing with you. I definitely like the idea behind it. Good one Vamp

yes i agree, it would be a great addition to our ships.. whether it was a timmed arti or not.. maybe something with a backfire for those throwing them at us... i personally hate having artis thrown at me.... good luck with this idea... worth considering i think... :P :P

when u get higher ranked u will have hundreds in ur armory...this is what vamp is talking about. Containment Missile (Uses Left: 270)

Its really not about being a super killer or anything,,, its just a natural evolution in the game,,, people need to defend themselves,,, take for instance the positron clouds,,, nowadays you have to use alot more of them to see someone,,,, so maybe the defensive counter measure could be something like that,,, something that has a percentage chance of avoiding the hit,,, this would help everyone in the game,,, In my opinion Dan does favor defense,,,thats why the defense mods cost more spaces then the attacks generally,,,

I just think that even in space movies,,,, there are usually ways to avoid being hit with missles,,, maybe even a defensive laser that auto defends back?

I just dont think its balanced that ONE missle has the power to ALWAYS hit its target AND wipe out every single buff you have on it,,, even i have alot of containment missles but i still dont like the imbalance of them

+1, getting something to balance this out would be nice. At rank 160 I have about 100 of the little buggers, I rarely ever see anyone actually 'buff' to fight, and when I do, they usually get the idea after the 3rd missile to stop trying to buff for a take down.
