great idea, but I have 1 issue:
right now i am sillixx, and the 10% boost puts me up into titan. If i got the titan tech, then switched to zolazin I would drop to heavy dreadnaught, so what would happen?

That would be up to dan of course but I would think you would lose the benefit until you got back your missing decks.

what would happen if you researched a level at sillix, then changed and fell below the size needed? would the bonus stay anyways or would you lose it until you got back up to size?

I like this a lot, but there is something that should be altered. They shouldn't give you crew members, because this affects your raiding ability. Also, you're building a location for your crew members to do stuff, not the crew members themselves. Basically just change it to add the equivalent bonus to the stats that the crew members would. i.e. +30 tactical officers = +60 Attack

I like this idea very much. Also I like the suggestions that you should have to choose between if you want bombers OR fighters, OR interceptors. I love uniqueness!
