Is there any way/idea for an apple/andriod app that would connect to GL and allow us to play on the mobiles?

at LEAST an app that let's us spend our RP, and do a mineral pull, maybe alert us if a planet is under attack, it doesn't have to be the whole game, just some time sensitive things...

This would be difficult compared to the game, I know a lot of us iOS owners have been thinking of this, but the game is coded in HTML.

This may be true, but if games like Dark Galaxy have phone app versions, when GL should as well

I can play GL on my Virgin Moble LG Optimus with its stock browser. It's slow, but I can do pretty much everything except scroll efficiently and hover. Works just fine for collecting my resources, using the comm (a little laggy) and tapping bases. Can't do prolonged battles due to speed issues, but all in all it works well enough for what I need.
