I know this issue has already been brought up on several occasions but especially with the more recent addition of the universal service terminal, I think that special base modules should be available to all. Since as they work now they seem much more individual since only the people who have researched the tech can use them, you might as well have it be a special ship module. If they were open to all it they would feel much more collective as a legion base module should.

Which modules do you mean? Most of the restrictions I've seen have been set by legion leaders, not the game

If you haven't researched a module you can't use it, with the exception of the commerce bay.

I believe he means modules such as the CTL lab, commerce bay, etc

I am referring to the need to have researched phase transference to use the shield charging station or universal service to use the universal service terminal. I'm not suggesting anything against the ability of legion leaders to restrict the use of those mods but against the tech requirement to have access to them.

Okay wasn't sure since I already had most of the research done before we had any of the stuff on our base I hadn't realized there was a restriction other than when it says leaders only.
