 exotic matter - too much or too little

maybe for you but 180 cargo used for something i am only now really starting to use...it was a big thing

lol point taken......... i do however think (not that i want them personally but being fair) they should put penalties on ships tht have too much cargo space. think about it the more you have the slower you are and a much bigger target. so cargo holds should be fig into the acount of your ship size..... when caculating damage... the more cargo you have the easier it is to hit you and the slower your ship would be in return. and at a min if your sheilds are down your cargo should be at risk of being destroyed or damaged not jst your ship itself.

There is a penalty to puting too much ranks into cargo space, and that is not having put them into crew or decks.

you shouldent have to spend any rank points into cargo...... artifacs will build up your cargo.... 20k for 60 cargo and 1750 for 10 cargo space

Youll have to put some RP into it in the beginning, your AP production will not be enough to scale with your leveling for quite some time. Your going to have to put some into Cargo from time to time for awhile.

ok agreed i put too much into cargo and i am just warning dont wast them on cargo i have gotten about 10 of those pods now for 60 cargo space and i wish i hadent wasted all the points i had in the begining on cargo thats all im saying.... use them but dont over do it like i did not knowing about the ap....

I didn't use any RP's on it. I just used rescued prisoners and daily reward points and put them into cargo. Then when I got my AP's over 20k for the first time, I got my first Mass Cargo Pod, so thats a nice bonus.

It might not have been that big, but cargo right now is space right now is precarious, especially since I have so many ari's taking up space. :?

Actually something Noc pointed out to me a while back, the Tessaract container is much more efficient in terms of cargo space granted per artifact point than the mass cargo pod.

yes your right in the fact that it cost 1750 for the small on i pointed that out to him a while back... however its flawed to the point thats its eaier to get the 20k one than the 1750 one.. but point wise it is much better. The 20k one is faster only because it is more space you would need 6 little ones to randomly come up to the one big one. i been testing this myself for some time and have been getting the big pob much faster then the little one. Just some food for thought.

It was causing quite a problem for some players because there is no direct way to remove exotic matter except if you have unlocked missions. I know by the time i had unlocked the missions I had a dearth of exotic matter to go through, when they changed the matter to be 0 it freed up over 100 units of cargo space that woudl have taken forever to go through at 2 exotic matter per wormhole mission! (I was alreaddy pulling in more exotic matter per mission than I could use after an hour's worth of energy accumulated)
