I am guarding it and have used a slew of arti's. If I get a planet Flux, will that remove it from his scans?

Any other suggestions?

Yes, flux and keep using traps, cloning pods, buffs, and alert your legion.

I made my planet immune to arti's so can't use flux yet :( But that should help protect the planet until its off alert shouldn't it?

While the immunity artifact is a fun strategy, be warned that there are very strong ships/ legions who could organize an attack and still take it. I have personally done it and had it done to me. The problem is, you can't instantly repopulate the planet with a clone artifact. So, once the enemy gets the planet down to within striking distance, they can just keep pounding away at it til someone gets lucky with the invasion. The better plan, in my mind, is that if you invade a planet and plan to be online of a bit, then simply monitor it. When the owner comes to return the invasion, just keep cloning the citizens! You can also keep adding traps that way. Now of course, when you get ready to go offline, you will want to immunity it, but I rarely if ever immunity a planet right after I take it.

Be wise with your flux's.

Don't waste them on medicore planets. Use them when you conquer really good planets like mega-rich planets (large or better sizes are preferable). Don't waste the flux on an average volcanic or toxic or whatever with rich resources. You'll regret it later cuz flux's are hard to come by.

Very large oceanic - rare - ultra rich arti - its about 20% of my arti's.

Is that worth a flux?

I would save flux's for when you successfully invade someone's planet and its good, like 2x Mega Rich resource or whatever. Terra, Oceanic, Plasma, Gaia, Sentient, Crystal, irradiated, or other "rare" planets, especially ones made from mission artifacts (gaia seeds, plasma terraformer, crystallizer, etc.)

What level are you? At level 130, there's a mission "Aeon Moon" that unlocks which leads to a series of missions which the last one is an infinite loop mission that produces an unlimited number of "ghetto" flux's which can be used to flux a planet. Only catch? You can only flux it if it hasn't been hit in a week. My strategy for that is to brickwall a planet with tons of defense and population structures and hold off for a week, then ghetto flux it.

Does any of this make sense?

yeah if you invaded or are getting one of your original planets attacked - just take off 1 or 2 "researched" production buildings in exchange for planet defenses and population buildings.

if the planet is good enough you will still get a decent amount of production, but if it isnt large enough or rich enough let it go to the sucker thats going for it (instead of abandoning, it saves you GP)

but i see it fairly good, so the prior is suggested...
