It would be nice to have the option to hit npcs not only with 5energy maybe 25-50energy at once wich would deal 5-10times more damage to npc and the attaker then it would take less clicks when hunting npcs

Well, what if it only has 5 hull left?
Like 99% of my NPCs do.
That's a waste of 25 energy now isn't it.
(I can't fathom how I do 200+ to an NPC until the 2nd to last hit, leaving it at below 10 hull 99% of the time)

The REAL problem is, IMO, what if YOU only had a few hull left.... That is, normally u might be only able to do 2-3 attacks before a repair, now u can get away with more.

Maybe an auto attack button that will repeat attacks until u run out of energy or need repair instead~

when its 5hull left u use the 5energy button im saying to have 3 buttons 5-25-50energy usage

or a checkbox on the legionbase / enemyplayer / npc / planet window next to attack that's labeled "AutoAttack"

if you check auto-attack, the javascript would continually loop on the attack with 2 second delays in between to give you time to uncheck the autoattack
...if your hull falls below 10%, autoattack is automatically unchecked
...if enemy dies, attack stops but the autoattack setting is remembered for the next window you open

Get a turbo mouse or something. Yeah you will develop problems in your fingers/wrist if you play all the time from all the clicking.

+1 it before, and will again this time. It would be a good OPTION to add to the game.
Perhaps even make it cost a bit more. For example, you could click the artifacts as usual or you could click them by the 50k's but for a cost of 55k worth of production... I bet there would be several higher ranks willing to pay the 10% tax for faster collections... same could be done with energy button.

2 seconds? Dang, you'd never be able to lock on a Queen or Refinery in our legion using that feature... Maybe not even a Fab Plant....

+1 to auto attack button for NPCs.

Might be nice to have one for missions too. One clck to autocomplete the mission or complte as far as possible with remaining energy.

agreed and currently anything along the lines of this would breach the rules.. correct me if im wrong but anything that automatically plays the game for you is not permitted.

i was just saying how Dan could implement it... which if he implemented it, it would be permitted as Dan is the developer of the game

omg necro.....
anyway, there can be a 2 sec delay option for smaller target
and a attack-until-unable-instantly option for big fights(where you are likely to require repairs in between so won't really over shoot anyway)
although, in case the NPC have a debuff effect, there should be option for:
auto-cage when debuffed
stop when debuffed
ignore and continue when debuffed

so if i understand this correctly there would be a 2 sec delay>attack 2 sec delay>attack>2 sec delay>attack. in those 6 seconds i could have killed 6 small npcs... sounds like people just want an auto pilot for leveling. might we suggest something like something you can select that will auto harvest minerals and arti when it reaches a certain amount even while offline?

and how many clicks would it be to set this option up? probably would be on the battle tab and actually on the npc it self.
1 click (battle tab)
2 click (NPC)
3 click (changing to the proper tab within the NPC)
4 click (drop box or selection circle)
5 click (confirmation because well people will complain if they "accidentally" click this option and then have no energy after dinner ;) )

5 clicks... (3 if ya wanna eliminate steps 1 and 2 due to the fact they cant be avoided) still most npcs are dead by then. :lol:

after those 3 click it would take an additional 6 seconds to do the same amount of damage as someone who used those 3 clicks to attack. :roll:

Exactly.

The only issue I have with this statement is the mention of an offline auto-harvest for minerals and artifact points. That essentially would cancel out raiding. -1
