 Beneficial Artifacts button

When battling I would like a button I can click so I can go to beneficial artifacts to use on my ship.

Currently I'm not always running around with boosts to my ship all active all the time. But when I get an alert about a rare boss level target I would like to be able to pops those and fight. As it stands now I need to go find my power ups then go back and try to find the alert. This isn't hard often but on occasion I get bursts that swamp it down a few posts, or I get two request for the type of boss from different people.

The time lost in find my boosts, using them and then getting to the battle sometimes costs me a loot spot. If I could simply do all the power up from the battle pane like I can do all the special crippling artifacts it would save some time and it might be those few seconds that make a difference in whether or not I get rewarded.

At the very least, the healing, box at the bottom should be on every page.

under your ship tab, there is a "Use an artifact" button right below your stats button and the repair button.

Yes, there is. The whole point it to not have to click all around to find these things. Streamlining should be the goal of things like this.

I like that idea as well that would save a lot of time of getting out and having to repair or find something. Also if this was on PVP battle tabs as well you could heal your ship without having to open a new tab and repairing it from another page online. Sometimes if you do it wrong you can even loose the player you are hitting on the screen after attacking it alot. Just because you have to do a repair.

I do like this idea a lot. Though it would need to filter out the artifacts that would affect the NPCs and you in combat. Some of the ones posted in the mock up just do not work lol.


Still I do love the idea.

Mock up is a very dirty sketch, the best I would put together with the time I had. I know a lot of them say 5 energy which would be free and calming artifact wouldn't be used.

I figure that having artifacts you use against the enemy should be at the top in one section where as the rest are ship buffs.

lol I know, I have done a few mock ups myself. Just I have tried to make things look right.

But yours does get the point across and that is what counts ^_^.

Currently studying abroad in Bolivia. I have been loyally playing from here and GL is SLOW as hell. I play solitaire while I wait and try to hit the button like 30 times for whatever I want to repeat (thank god for the sell all minerals button.)

I vote yes with this as it will make it decent for international players who, even with fast internet, have to wait for the signal to travel the world.

other speed implements

receive all for artifacts
research last equipment researched from the newspage
remember last planet in some way

+1 for this idea from me. Unifying everything on the one screen would be a much better way of doing things and encourage more combat.

I'd also suggest that where the use all button is, it should also specify how much energy that would cost, and if you haven't got enough, the button should either be greyed out or be removed until you have enough.

Seriously. It's good for him as well though i'd say since it *SHOULD* reduce stress to the server since obviously.. less clicks needing processed.

I wish he'd just get it done xD

I like that motto more ass kicking with less clicking.

I was wondering also if had any thoughts about "power attacks." Where we could say use 10,15, or 20 energy to make an attack. The idea being also to reduce clicking, but also so you can dump energy faster and maybe win a spot in the NPC reward list.

I would like to see this happen as well but if it did it would have to only be for the NPC's. I say this because of traps. I can disable a player in three hits depending on the rank so if I could power attack another for three hits at once his traps would have no effect. Also What if you hit the power attack on a NPC and it only has a few HP left. Would you lose all that energy because of this or how would that work??

Well mojo as it stands now if you shoot a ship that has 5 hp beore death still rewards you the same as a ship that has 500hp when yopu click the attack button. All this would do is say ok instead of giving 5*A xp as a reward it would be 15*A xp, or how ever the formula is calculated. So regaedless of the damage inflicted you'd still be rewarded.

Maybe this could also be an installed item that also benefits your xp ratio slightly for choosing to invest more energy. Say 15*(A(1.02)) I don't know if it's worth it but something to ponder.

I cant believe I didnt post anything when this was originally made. We need this, and for PVP as well. Not really able to make a fast attack when I have to wait for the game to load the artifact screens everytime I want to use one.

I don't think you are supposed to open a new window for that, I wish there was a check that would closeout the old window if you opened another personally.

also for PVP users, if you get damaged in combat you must go repair. I doubt anyone can make repairs to your ships without going outside and getting killed by the enemy while doing them. You have to leave the combat area first, right? This is probably something done to force use of nano repair drones for the ships that bite off more then they can chew. I hope they never add that repair button on the battle screen.
