finding specific artifacts

 Is there a way to get specific artifacts when receiving shipments? Or at least, a way to tip the odds, like having the exact number of artifact points for the item you want, or a certain amount more?

No, it is all random. If you want to get a high level arti(Like a mass storage pod, or quasi-spatial expander) just wait for your bar to max out.

nope you either have a chance at it or you dont, you can increase odds to get certain artifacts by cashing in low. say you make sure you cash in before you get to 10000, well then yoou cant get something like an alien star chart...so your chances of of getting the under 10000 artifacts are increased

What about the terriforming device for that specific mission? I didnt get one from the mission that said it would drop it.

It's a chance to drop it when you do one mission, the only time it's guaranteed to drop is when you finish an entire set of missions (20 I think it is).

I didn't get one though and mission is finished - 20 completions. is there a chance I may loot one? or should I petition to get the mission reset?
