Î got thinking about this idea reading the latest tax thread.

IF one maxes out resources, what cannot be held in ones cargo goes directly to the base funds, but its sold off at 60% tax (instead of 20%).

These credits then should be locked in another "account" that cannot be withdrawn and base upkeep draw from this funds first and then from
the donated funds if the first account cant pay for the upkeep.

in general:
2 different accounts in base: donation where withdrawal is possible, and one fixed account where ony deposit is possible from minerals.

That's a good idea. No more wasted mineral production, and bases get a boost.

+1 from me.

A good idea as long as it doesn't collect if the person isn't maxed. Otherwise, seems like a way to possibly get some money to the base without punishing.

The idea is that this only works on minerals the player lose out on each hour by not collecting him self.

Lets take me for example.. if i lose out examply one hour.. this means i lose out on around a half billion credits to my ship, this with 20% tax and a roughly guesstimate. This instead would mean my legions base would gain perhaps 100-200 million from those lost minerals because i screwed up and didnt collect in time.
