defiantly your spending 12500 energy and 500 flux probes for 80 hours of research or you could leave it until later when your production is higher to get more from it.

you don't have to use the anomaly readings immediately... save them up till you have high research, then you'll get more from them (it will make it much easier for you to speed through the heavy research for dimensional logisitics and everything above it)

ALSO.... another reason to do the mission....

it's part of a chain that ENDS with unlocking Kronyn, allowing you to boost the research production on planets permanantly.... and if i remember, the entire chain is somewhere around 84.5K energy..... (some single missions in other chains are that long)
